Hey!! I'm finally here to do the first of your 1st place prize reviews!! Ok, so WOW... For something that was written without planning or editing, this certainly was an excellent one-shot Malissa! :)

It's really funny, because at this college bible study group that I go to every Monday night, our group leader is really big on silence. We always have moments of silence, and he's even taught us how to meditate in silence. This one time we went on a retreat where we had to have like up to 4 hours of silence at a time, lol! I used to be scared of the quiet, to be honest. But now, ever since that retreat, I have learned to live in it. You really can learn a lot just by taking some time to sit outside on a nice spring day and sit in silence listen to the sounds of life all around you. Here as of late, Silence is something that I have slowly come to appreciate and value more and more.

Sorry to go off topic there, but all that being said; I really did like the overall theme behind this story. A lot. I absolutely LOVE Molly as a character and I appreciate what she is going through at the beginning here. I was so proud of her when she finally embraced everything at the end, and I just loved the way she was remembering certain things about each and every one of her children. That was such a sweet touch! I also couldn't help but laugh at the Percy parts, because it's so hard to picture him as good. Sometimes I forget that Percy isn't really evil in the books, lol! ^_^'

Even if you could go back and edit this, I'm still not sure I would chance anything. I like it just the way it is. Its beautiful, simplistic, and it flows really, really well; almost like a song even! I am giving it a 10 outta 10 Great job hun!! =)
