Your writing continues to astound me, particularly the bits about inert pigeons and the 'pyjama party'. It's seemingly simple statements like that that really hook me. I quite liked it.

Hahaha, the conversation with Lavinia and the other ladies was quite funny. "Glad I could make it." XD Poor Freddy!

Hm, Crane certainly favours her considerably. I can't help but wonder at it. I mean, I certainly adore Freddy but I wonder if his attention has any other motivation. I dunno. Anyway! Haha.

I absolutely devoured this chapter. I couldn't believe I was done when I got to the end! Great work, keep it up!

Aww, thanks so much for the fantastic review! I'm so thrilled that you still find this story interesting after soldiering through the rather long-winded "Consumed". ^_^ As always, your feedback was so very helpful. I honestly can't thank you enough!

I'm so glad you enjoyed Freddy's conversation with Lavinia--I was worried that it might turn out too "Mean Girl"-ish, which certainly wasn't my intention. ;)

And yes, Crane is certainly playing favorites. I'd love to say more about his motivations, but I dare not ruin the plot. :)
