Like everyone else who has reviewed, I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to plan this out and develop your characters. It gets rather annoying when its a chapter into a story and suddenly the quiet girl is everyone's favorite person; so its refreshing to actually get to know Laura and her voice.

As far as characterizations, I think that you've hit the mark perfectly to the canon, or as close as you could get not being JK Rowling.=] If she had written more about the Marauders at school, I really think they would be close to how you've made out to be. I especially enjoy Remus, every time he makes an appearance it makes me happy. ^-^

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who honestly had something bad to say about this story. The work you've put into it is paying off and making everyone who's read it wanting more. Hopefully you'll update soon!

Author's Response: Wow! Thanks so much kix10! That is almost the perfect review!!! *beams* I had a pretty bad night last night (sick kids, very little sleep) and so getting up to read this first thing has just made my day. I haven't even had a coffee yet and I'm just grinning from ear to ear :)

I am particularly pleased that you think I've got the characterisation right for the canon characters. There is so little we know about them and so much is open to interpretation so I'm really thrilled that you think they're spot on, that's just fantastic. Of course I've written them how I've always seen them but naturally not everyone agrees with that interpretation.

Anyway the next chapter is in the queue so with any luck (validation, queue moving as expected) it will be up in a bit under a week.
