This was an interesting story. I have to admit that I was a bit worried if I would understand the story in the beginning because I have never heard of Tir na nOg before, but you do an amazing job of explaining the legend during your story and giving me all the information I needed to understand this one-shot.

I like the fact that Seamus and Luna are the main characters of your story because I haven't read much about them yet. But I have to admit that I'm not sure if Luna wouldn't have the same doubts and problems with Tir na nOg than Seamus. Even if she always seems lost in her own world, I don't think that she would be happy in Tir na nOg. But that's just my opinion, and I understand that other people see her differently.

All in all, this was a great story, one that I think would even have the potential to become a short story or a novella if you elaborated it a bit.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I'm glad you feel that I explained things adequately. It was created as a gift for an online friend, who is American, so I was careful to explain anything specifically Irish.

Yeah, I take your point about Luna, but it is written from Seamus' point of view, so Luna's feelings have been a little glossed over. He believes that she is oblivious to the negatives, but whether she really is or not is pretty much up to interpretation. *grin*

Anyway, thanks again for reviewing, particularly for such a detailed and well thought out review. I really appreciate it.
