im guna make a prediciton here... ok ready?? draco is geniunely trying to become a nicer person, and this brings hermione closer to him,who feels sympathetic, but of course, the task his father has given him gets in the way, so he uses hermione's trust to get info about potter. somewhere along the way his feelings toward the "mudblood" become real, but she discovers his truth and wishes she nvr tried to understand him, and that harry and ron were right about him all along, tho they really werent, cuz draco wuz trying to change and leev it all, he just couldnt find a way out (without dying, that is). so in the end, draco ends up cold, broken, and alone, jus the way he had begun, and that his efforts to change had brought so close to true love and hapiness that it hurt, like hell, and he almost wishes he had never tried. the end. i hope im totally wrong, cuz that would be too easy. dont disappoint me cuz i still luv ur writing!!!

Author's Response: you are wrong - had i finished the story, the end would have been......quite different. And interesting, i like to think...
