You did an excellent job of this! Remus saying that showing how he "felt" was completely inappropriate was exactly in-character. And you can just FEEL his bubbling frustration when "Remus slammed himself into an armchair, closed his eyes, and prayed that this was all a dream". I also liked Tonks' argument about her being a Metamorphmagus - very clever of her to throw that in!
*sigh* Remus & Tonks really are my favorite tortured love story, and you represented them wonderfully. I also have a 'missing moments' type one-shot en queue, but it ends quite differently, LOL! Thanks for writing hon.
