You are viewing a story from harrypotterfanfiction.com View Online Before you read this, just know, I didn't plan on any of this happening. But, if I could, there's no way I would take any of it back. "Rorie, get up please!" My mother's voice called. "Five more minutes!" I yelled sleepily. "You said 'five more minutes' ten minutes ago. Please get up. Allie wants to play with you!" She said. I groaned and threw my covers off me. If I didn't love Allie so much, I would not have gotten up. I dragged myself into the bathroom for a quick shower and then got dressed. By the time I got down to my aunt's living room, I was completely awake. Mum, Allie, and I were spending the summer at my Aunt Mona's house. Which I was really happy about. Mona was my favorite aunt, and her daughter, Bree, was like a sister to me. Everyone was already at the table eating breakfast when I got there. "Oh,there she is." Mum said smiling. I plopped down on a chair and poured some coffee. I looked at Allie "Good morning, Allie." I said. "Hi!" She said brightly. "She's growing up so fast." Bree said shaking her head. "I want to go swimming!" Allie exclaimed. Mum looked at me expectantly. "I'm guessing I have to take her?" I asked. "Yes, since next week you're going off to school, and I'll have to take care of her by myself." Only my Mum would make someone feel bad about going back to school. I had been homeschooled for the last three years, but I'm doing my last year at a real school. What's even better is that I'm going to Bree's school. "Oh, now, Veronica," Aunt Mona said. "Stop making Rorie feel bad about wanting to go back to school. I think it's a very responsible choice she's making." "Thank you, Aunt Mona." I said, smirking at Mum. She stuck her tongue out at me. Real mature there, Mum. I turned to Bree. "Want to come with me and Allie to that lake she likes swimming in?" I asked. "Um, no. I've got sunburn, remember?" She said sadly. It was hard to forget, she was as red as a tomato. We're all hoping it goes away by the time school starts next week. "Right." I said grimacing slightly. A little bit after we had lunch, I changed into shorts and a bikini top, while Allie changed into her bathing suit and we set off to the lake. On the way there, Allie talked the way all four year old kids do: a mile a minute. She talked about her friends back home, how she was going to miss me when I left, and she hinted she would like to have ice cream after swimming. Kids. When we reached the lake, Allie ran full speed into the water. "Don't go out to far!" I called as I kicked off my flipflops and sat down. I put my feet in the water, and pulled out my latest book, The Princess Bride. It was by a muggle author named William Goldman. The book was actually surprisingly interesting. Princess Buttercup's undying love for her lost love, Westley was beautiful. Just when the book was getting good and Princess Buttercup was about to be thrown into a sea of eels, I was distracted by yelling behind me. I turned around to see about five guys around my age racing towards the lake. They all jumped in, splashing me and my book with water. I wiped my face and the pages of the book, intent on not letting these guys ruin my reading time. I went back to reading, only to be distracted seconds later by more yelling. I looked up, the five guys were splashing some younger kids. They left Allie, who was oblivious to her surroundings, alone. Which is good, because I'd hate to have to beat these guys up, because, they were pretty cute. Especially the one who seemed to be the leader of the group. He had platinum blonde hair that was dripping with water. His body was nothing to complain about, either. He definitely looked like he worked out. He pushed his hair out of his eyes and looked over at me, smiling. I quickly looked back down at my book. A few minutes later, I was splashed yet again by the five cute, but very annoying guys. And again, I wiped my face and my book. These guys had to be muggles, there was no way seventeen year old wizards acted like this. All rowdy and hyped up on Merlin knows what. I rolled my eyes, and attempted to start reading again, when more water splashed on me. If I didn't know any better, I would say they were splashing me on purpose, but no one is that obnoxious, right? I looked up, and they were all laughing, splashing eachother. I looked over at Allie, she seemed to be enjoying herself. I noticed the blonde guy staring at me,and again, I looked down. A few moments later he was swimming over to me. Ugh. He rested his arms on the grass, next to my legs and looked up at me with his sparkling grey eyes. "Hey, Gorgeous," he said. "What are you doing?" "I'm trying to read." I replied in annoyance. "Oh, reading doesn't work out so well with me either." He said. "That doesn't at all surprise me." I said flatly. "So, Gorgeous, how about you come in the water?" He asked smirking. "No, I'm good." I said, hoping he'd take the hint and leave. He didn't. "Well, you wanna watch me do back flip in?" "No." "Want to watch me do a canon ball?" He asked. "No, but I'd love to see you get hit by one." I said, glaring at him. "You're funny, Gorgeous. I like that." He smiled. What a great smile, I thought. I shook my head. "Look here, Blondie, I didn't come here to have a conversation with you. I came here to read my book, and make a four year old girl happy." I said. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm very wet, and I would like some ice cream." I shut my book closed and stood up. "Allie, come on, let's go get some ice cream!" I said slipping on my flip flops. "See you around, Gorgeous." Blondie said swimming backwards over to his friends, smirking. "Yeah, let's hope not." I muttered. Allie walked over to me, soaking. "Time for ice cream?" She asked smiling. "Yes, sweetie, time for ice cream." I said returning her smile. "Why are you all wet?" She asked as we started walking. "Apparently, I looked like I wanted to get wet." I answered, thinking about Blondie and his stupid muggle friends. "Oh," she said. We didn't say much until we reached the ice cream parlor. Allie got Sherbert ice cream with sprinkles, and I got classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. "What does 'arse' mean?" Allie asked, looking up at me curiously. "Excuse me?!" I asked in bewilderment. "What does 'arse' mean? I heard one of the older boys call the other an 'arse' what does it mean?" "You listen to me, Allie, that is a very bad word that I don't ever want you to repeat, do you understand?" "Yes, but what does it mean?" "Nothing you need to worry your sweet little face about." For the record, I'm sure the guy was being a total arse, especially if it was Blondie. A few days later, I had forgotten all about Blondie and his stupid friends, and Allie had forgotten about the word 'arse'. She had begged me to take her to the park, and since it was the last day of summer, before I went off to school, I agreed. Allie wanted to go on the swings, and when I tried to push her from the back, she said she wanted me to push from the front. "Okay, Allie, don't kick me." I said. She did. In the knee. I almost collapsed. "Hey, Gorgeous." A voice from behind me said. "Oh, no." I groaned. I turned around, and there was Blondie, as good looking as ever, wearing a polo shirt and black slacks. I put my hand on my hips. "Are you stalking me?" I asked. He shrugged. "Did you ever think fate brought us both here, Gorgeous?" "No." I said turning away from him, and pushing Allie on the swings, this time, I was not kicked. "So, how come I haven't seen you around here before, Gorgeous?" He asked, unfazed by my rudeness. "Because, I don't live around here, Blondie." I answered, my back still to him. "Interesting." Blondie said. I didn't reply, suddenly hands sliding around my waist. "Hey!" I yelled jumping away from Blondie, only to be kicked my Allie. "Ouch, Allie!" "Maybe that would work better if you were behind her." Blondie said, smirking. "You are an idiot!" I exclaimed, rubbing my leg. "I'm not the one getting kicked, am I, Gorgeous?" He said. "Why are you bothering me?!" I asked. "Why are you fighting me, Gorgeous?" He motioning between us. "This works!" "No, it doesn't!" I retorted. "This doesn't work one bit! Believe me, I am not your type. And you know what? I would appreciate it if you stopped calling me 'Gorgeous' because that isn't my name. I have a name and I'd like to be be call-mmm!" Blondie had kissed me. He had completely interupted my ranting, wrapped his arms around me, and kissed me full on the mouth. Oh my Merlin, it was amazing! Um, I mean horrible. I get my first kiss from some annoying blonde muggle. Spectacular. Blondie pulled away, smirking. "And-I umm..." I mumbled incoherently looking at him. He continued smirking. "See you around, Gorgeous." He said lightly tapping my bum, and then walking away, looking quite pleased with himself. I just stared after him. At one point, he turned around and waved to me, and continued walking. I didn't wave back, just so you know. "You kissed a boy!" Allie giggled. "No, I didn't, a boy kissed me." I paused. "A boy kissed me!" I exclaimed in disbelief. Allie giggled. "I'm telling!" Oh, no! "Hey, Allie, how about some ice cream?" "What happened?" Bree asked when I walked into the room we were sharing. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Something happened, I can tell by the look on your face, now tell me, what happened!" She exclaimed. "All right, fine, but please don't tell anyone." I said sitting down on the bed. Bree scoffed, looking offended. "I'm insulted you would think I would tell anyone." I rolled my eyes. "Do you want to know or not?" I asked. "Yes!" I told her all about meeting Blondie a few days ago at the lake, and then about him kissing me today. "Oh, my Merlin! Rorie, you got your first kiss!" She exclaimed. "Yeah, from some muggle! What would my Mother say?" "Rorie how dare you associate with a muggle like that?!" Bree imitated Mum's voice. "Shut up!" I said. "Ugh, I can't believe this!" "Rorie, I think you're the only girl who isn't excited about her first kiss." She said shaking her head. "Bree, you know I had this planned out. And you know how I feel about these kinds of things." I said quietly. Bree sighed. "I know, hon, but there's nothing you can do about it now, so don't be too upset, okay?" "Okay." I smiled. "I just can't believe some muggle kissed me. I mean who kisses complete strangers?! At least I never have to see him again." "That's the spirit! Just focus on going to Hogwarts where there will be no muggles, just hot wizards. I can't wait for you to see the gorgeous boys of Slytherin." Bree said grinnng. "That sounds amazing, but please don't ever say the word 'gorgeous' again." I pleaded. "You got it. Come on, let's pack." "Okay." I said. I was so excited for Hogwarts. I would be around witches and wizards my age, and have friends other than Bree. And I would be away from stanger kissers like Blondie. Or that's what I thought... A/N: Hi, so this is my newest story. I really didn't want to post another one until I finished one of my other stories, but I just couldn't stop myself. I hope you like this. :) Rorie's POV "This train is freakin' huge!" I exclaimed. "Watch your language, Rorie." Mum said sternly. "Come on, Mum, 'freakin' isn't a bad word. It's not like I said-" "All right, that's enough, Rorie. Try to set a good example for Allie, huh?" She scolded. I nodded. "Right." I looked down at Allie, who was holding my hand. "Sorry Allie." I said. "It's okay." She said. The train whistled. "Okay, now, Bree, make sure you take care of Rorie, she hasn't been to school in four years. Make sure you help her find her classes and make friends. And please stay out of trouble." Aunt Mona said all in one breath. "And don't forget to have fun, and date lots of boys." Mum added. "Preferably Slytherins or Ravenclaws." She winked at me. Bree and I laughed as our mothers hugged us. "If you don't like it, write me, and I will take you out right away." Mum whispered in my ear. I nodded, pretty sure that wouldn't happen. I was ready to go back to real school. Besides it's not like I'm going back to my old school. I would be fine. I felt a tug on my hand, and I looked down and saw Allie looking up at me sadly. I bent down. "Hey, don't be sad." I said. "But you're leaving and I'll miss you." She said. "I know, but I'll be back before you know it. I promise. And you and Mum will have fun while I'm away, you probably won't even miss me." "You're coming back for Christmas, right?" Allie asked, a tear slid down her face. "Yes." I said wiping her tear away. "You promise?" "I promise. Now, are you going to be a good girl for Mum?" I asked. She nodded. "You promise?" "Yes." She said. The train whistled again. I hugged Allie tightly. "I love you." She said. "I love you too, Allie." I said keeping the tear ready to escape my eye in. I got up and hugged Mum again. "Take good care of her, okay." I said. "Of course, honey." "Come on, Rorie, we gotta go." Bree said. "All right." I said. "Bye guys, see you in three months." Bree and I hurried to the train. As we were looking for seats, we ran into a very good looking black boy. "Hi Blaise." Bree said. "Bree, you look amazing." He said smiling. "Two minutes we've been on the train, and you're already kissing arse?" Bree asked smiling too. "You know me." He turned his attention to me. "But you don't. Hello there, beautiful." "This is Rorie. Rorie, this is-" "Blaise." He said taking my hand and kissing it. "Blaise Zabini." "Nice to meet you." I said chuckling. "Hey, back off Zabini, this is my cousin. She's not like the sluts you're used to." Bree said. "She's got class and she's not easy to impress." "Well, are you Bree?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows, which caused both me and Bree to laugh. "You know by now that I'm not Blaise." She answered. "Lucky for me,I've got charm that will impress you for sure." He said. "Yeah, right." "I know I am right. So are you beautiful ladies sitting with us?" Blaise asked. "No." Bree answered. "Why not?" He asked. Which is also what I was wondering, I liked Blaise he was funny. "Because of who you're sitting with." She said. "Right, I forgot you hate my best mate." Blaise said nodding. "Well, then I guess I'll see you guys later then." "Yes, you will." Bree said. Blaise gave us a wink and walked off. "You like him." I said as we kept walking. "Who? Blaise? No I don't." She said quickly. "Bree Hastings, don't lie to me. I know you better than anyone else, and you like him!" I said. "Fine, maybe a little." She admitted. "It's not obvious, is it?!" "Well, it's not discreet." I shrugged. "Oh, no! I must look like those other pathetic girls pining after him!" Bree exclaimed as we found an empty compartment to sit in. She plopped down on a seat. I said across from her. "Don't worry, you don't look pathetic, it looks like he likes you too." I insisted. "Really?!" She asked. "Yeah. I mean I don't know him, but it seems like he likes you." I said shrugging. "Huh." She said, thinking it over. We were silent for a few moments. "Rorie, are you scared?" She asked. "Yes." I said truthfully. "I mean the last time I was in school...but I'm ready to go back." "You know you can count on me for anything, right?" She asked. "Of course. You are my best and only friend." "Hopefully that will change." Bree smiled. "I mean the 'only' part. I always want to be your best friend." "You always will be." I said. We spent the next hour talking about random things until a trolley filled with sweets came around. I got a few Licorice Wands and some Chocolate Frogs, and Bree got some Pumpkin Pasties. After we finished eating, I drifted off into sleep. Before I know it Bree is shaking me awake. "Come on, Rorie, we're almost there. We need to get our uniforms on." I yawned as I sat up. "All right, I'm up." I said. When the train finally stopped, we were ready to go. We got off the train with a crowd of other students. For a second, I thought I saw a flash of platinum blonde hair, but as quickly as it appeared, it disappeared, so I assumed I imagined it. My mind was playing tricks on me. We ran qucikly through the light rain into the carriages pulled by thestrals. While in the carriages, Bree and I excitedly talked about me hopefully being sorted into Slytherin, and if not that, Ravenclaw. The carriage stopped and we got out. In front of me had to be the most amazing place I'd ever seen. Hogwarts was ten times bigger than my last school. "Come on." Bree chuckled, pulling me into the castle. We were met with a crowd of students yet again. "Any new students, over here for sorting!" A woman whose gray hair was in a tight bun shouted over the students. "Good luck." Bree whispered to me as I made my way over to the woman. When I was almost there, I collided with someone. "Sorry!" I said quickly, hoping the person wouldn't be mad. I couldn't have enemies on my first day there. I looked up to see a very good looking guy, who thankfully didn't look mad. "Don't worry about it." He said smiling. "Thanks." I smiled back. "You're welcome." "I, uh, should go get sorted." I said gesturing over to the woman. "Good luck." He nodded, still smiling. "Thanks...again." I giggled nervously. "You're welcome...again." He chuckled. I nodded and quickly walked towards the woman. There were only three other new students, and all of them looked younger than me. We followed the old woman into a giant Hall with four long tables that were being filled with students. There was also a very long table where it seemed the professors sat. We stood with the first years waiting to be sorted. The first of the new students to be sorted was a girl in fifth year named. Eliza Harding who was sorted into Hufflepuff. Then there was Brandon Irian who was sorted into Ravenclaw. I watched as he went to sit down and I saw the guy I had bumped into greeting him. Ravenclaw wasn't looking so bad. Then it was my turn. I walked up to the stool slowly, a little nervous. As I sat down, I could have sworn I heard someone say "Gorgeous". I quickly looked around, but saw no trace of platinum blonde hair. My nerves must be getting to me. "Hmm," A voice that I knew was the hat that was placed on my head said. "Where to put you?" He asked. "Slytherin." I thought. "Slytherin, huh? Are you sure." It asked. "Very positive." I answered impatiently. "All right then...SLYTHERIN!!!" I hopped off the stool and ran over to Bree happily. "You did it!" She exclaimed. "I know! I'm so excited! I can't wait to tell Mum!" I said beaming. I was on a high the whole feast. I was back at real school with my best friend, I had already met a cute guy, and I was sorted into Slytherin. Nothing could bring me down. After the feast, Bree had to show the first years around, since she's a prefect, so she just told me to follow the rest of the Slytherins to the common room, and she'd meet up with me there. So, there I was walking with others when I hear from behind me. "Well, hello there, Gorgeous." I stop dead in my tracks, there is no way he is here, he can't be. But sure enough when I turn around, there is Blondie with a smirk on his stupid good looking face. "You?!" I exclaimed. "Before you ask, no I'm not stalking you. I've been going here for the past six years, so you must be stalking me." Blondie said. I scoffed. "Oh please! Don't flatter yourself!" "But I'm so good at it, Gorgeous. Almost as good as I am at kissing." A sly grin appearing on his face. "You know, you've got a lot of nerve Blondie." I said taking a step closer. "How dare you steal my first kiss?!" There were people stopping to see what was going on, but at the moment,I couldn't care less. "What the hell does that mean?" He asked. "It means I had a kiss. A first kiss, and you stole it when you kissed me! I was saving my first kiss for someone smart who had top grades and knew where he was going in life!" I explained angrily. "You hadn't had your first kiss yet?" Blondie asked surprised. "That doesn't matter anymore, Blondie, cause you stole it!" "And how did I steal it again?" He asked smirking. "By kissing me! You took what wasn't yours, Blondie!" I exclaimed. "Fine, Gorgeous, if you're so upset, you can have your bloody first kiss back." He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me. It was even better than the first time. I pushed him away. "You can't give a first kiss back, it's already gone!" I said. "But you can have the kiss you just gave me back, because I don't want it." I grabbed his shoulders and kissed him. Well, really, I gave his kiss back. Blondie put his hand on the back of my head and kissed me back. This was amazing. Or terrible. I pushed him away again. "What am I doing?!" I exclaimed, then I walked away quickly before Blondie and I could somehow kiss again. Draco's POV I watched as Gorgeous walked away. I couldn't help but notice how nice her arse is. My lips tingled from kissing her, just like last time, but this time I could feel it so much more. Probably because more kissing occured this time. For someone who hadn't had their first yet, Gorgeous sure was a good kisser. I can't believe Gorgeous is here at Hogwarts. I didn't think I'd be seeing her soon, but it must be fate that she switched to the same school as me. I think I like her. There's definitely something about her that attracts me to her, and it's more than just her looks. It could be her fiesty attitude, or the way she calls me Blondie. I'm not too sure what it is, but I'm going to find out somehow. I feel like this could be something. I came to realize I was still standing in the same spot that Gorgeous left me. I also realize that people are still staring. I continue walking towards the Slytherin common room with my best mate, Blaise. "What was that all about, mate?" He asked. "You remember that girl I was telling you about that I snogged last week at the park? Well, that's her." I said. "That's her?! She's hot!" Blaise exclaimed. "I told you." I shrugged. "Wow." He muttered. "I want her, Blaise," I said. "I want her really bad." Blaise snorted. "All right, good luck with that, Draco." "What, you think I can't get her?" I asked. "Uh, yeah. She's not your type and she's out of your league." He said. "What do you mean by that?" "Oh, come on. Tell me she's not the type of girl you usually go after. She's the kind of girl looking for a relationship, not a one night stand." "I don't want to just shag her once." I said. "Fine, she's not the type to just fool around for a few weeks. She wants more than that." Blaise said. "All right, but how is she out of my league?" I asked. "I'm the best looking guy in seventh year." "You know, I'm in seventh year too." He said. "And what does that have to do with anything?" I asked impatiently. Blaise sighed. "Anyways, what I mean is, from what I can see she's really smart, extremely sexy, and not at all easy to impress. I mean didn't you tell me she was reading at the lake? Does that sound like the kind of girl who would waste her time on a playboy like you?" "She might be." I said, not as confidently as I wanted. "She's not." Blaise said bluntly. "Even if she was, she probably wouldn't go for you anyways." "Why not?" I asked. "Because her cousin is Bree Hastings." He answered. "What?!" "Yep, Bree introduced us on the train. I still can't believe she's the same girl you kissed." "But Bree hates me." I groaned. "Yeah, she does. So I suggest you forget about her cousin." Blaise suggested as we entered the common room. "We're not the kind of guys to have serious relationships anyways." "Yeah, right." I said. But Gorgeous was still on my mind. No matter whose cousin she was, I still had to have her. Maybe I could convince her I'm not as bad as Bree makes me out to be. Yeah, that's what I'll do, I'll convince her that I really am a good guy, and she'll fall for me. "Uh, Draco, did you hear me?" Blaise asked. "Huh? No." I shook my head. "I said are you going to hang out here for awhile?" He asked. "Nah, I'm going to head over to the Head's dormitory so I can get settled in. I'll catch up with you later." I said leaving the common room. I was made Head Boy this year, the only downside was that filthy Mudblood, Hermione Granger was Head Girl. But I didn't plan on spending too much time in the Head's dorm anyway, especially since my plan to make Gorgeous fall for me was going to be put into effect tomorrow. I wondered if she'd be impressed with me being Head Boy? Well, it won't hurt to show her my badge. I entered our common room, and there was Granger sitting on our couch reading some stupid book. I don't know why it's so sexy when Gorgeous reads, but when Granger does it, I'm disgusted. Probably because I hate Granger. I tried to walk past her like she wasn't there, but she suddenly spoke. "Malfoy, we have a prefect's meeting tomorrow at lunch, don't miss it." "Whatever." I said, and continued walking. "You know, I hate this as much as you do." She called as I walked up the stairs. "That's impossible, Granger." I called back. Only about twenty minutes later, I'm lying in bed, still thinking about Gorgeous. What was it about her that made me crave her so bad? Why did I need have her? I barely know the girl, and I already want her to fall for me, why was that? I guess the only way to find out it to get her to want me too... Rorie's POV After the kissing fiasco with Blondie, I walked around a bit to sort out my thoughts. Nothing made sense. How was Blondie here? How had he been going here for six years, and Bree never brought him up? How was he not a Muggle?! Why did I feel even slightly attracted to him? He's a stranger kisser, and he didn't understand the rules of personal space at all. Why would I like someone like that? I wouldn't, I'm just confused from kissing is all. Yep, that's it. I don't even know his real name. Once I had come to the conclusion that I did not like him, I made my way to the Slytherin common room. I got lost once or twice, but I managed to make it there. After saying the password (Salazar), I made my way up to the girl's dormitory. Bree was unpacking. "Hey." She said. "Where have you been?" "Around." I shrugged making my way to the bed next to hers that had my trunk in front of it. I started unpacking. I wasn't in the mood to tell her about my run in with Blondie. "Around snogging Draco Malfoy?" She asked. "What?!" I asked turning to face her. "You heard me." Bree said. "I didn't snog this 'Draco' person, I snogged Blondie. Well, really, he snogged me, and then I was giving him his kiss back and it was all very confusing..." "Draco Malfoy is Blondie?!" She asked. "Um, I don't know, I guess!" I exclaimed, still confused. "How did you even find out I kissed Blondie?" "News travels fast at this school." She shrugged. "Great." I muttered. "So, his name is Draco Malfoy. Draco Malfoy, why does that sound so familiar?" I asked myself, more that Bree. It came to me. "Oh, my goodness, that's the guy who broke your heart last year, isn't it?!" Bree sighed and nodded. "Yeah, that's him." "Oh, wow, I'm sorry I kissed him." I said. "It's fine, I'm way over him...so do you like him?" She asked. I knew she wasn't over it. Bree could hold a grudge like no one else. She was not over Blondie breaking her heart. "Um...I don't know." I said not sure how to respond, since she obviously wasn't over it. "I don't really know him. But if you're not over him, I won't even look at him at all." I was trying to give her a chance to admit she was not over him. She wasn't taking the chance. "Rorie, it's fine, I don't like him anymore...so do you think he's a good kisser?" "How would I know?" I asked, determined not to admit that he was an excellent kisser. "I mean, he was my first kiss. I could think he was great, and then kiss someone else and realize he was actually horrible." I wondered if she could tell that I wasn't exactly telling the whole truth. She probably could. "Well, um, if you like him, I could tell you some stuff about him." She suggested. "Sure. Not that I like him though." I said quickly. After Bree finishes, I know for sure that she is no way over him shattering her heart. She said Blondie played girls on a daily basis, that once he was done with them, he'd dispose of them in the worst ways possible. She said he goes through girls like the months of a year and that he shagged everyone of them, except for her. The only good thing she said about him was that he could be the sweetest guy in the world...only to decieve girls and then play with their emotions. Everything else had to do with him being an arsehole who only cared about himself. It was clear she didn't want me liking him. Which was fine. I mean, if she's not over him, I'm not gonna go after him, I wouldn't do that to my best friend. He's not my type anyways. Girls like me don't fall for guys like him. So as I lay in bed, why can't I stop thinking about him? The next morning I woke up very early so I could send my Mum and Allie a letter, telling them I was fine and I had been sorted into Slytherin. I knew Mum would be proud. I exited the common room, and as I was turning the corner, I saw a figure in front of me, and I screamed unintentionally. The figure jumped and looked at me wildly. The figure was Blondie. "What the bloody hell is wrong with you?!" I asked. "You scared me to death!" "Well, I didn't know you were coming this soon." He said defensively. "What? You were waiting for me?" I asked surprised, and a bit freaked out. Blondie then seemed to regain his usual over confidence. "Yes, I was." He said. "I just wanted to welcome you to Hogwarts." "Really?" I asked, amused. "Could have sworn that's what you were doing last night when you kissed me. I thought you were part of the Welcoming Committee." I started walking again, and he followed suit. "Well, I kind of was, but just so you know, out of all the new students, only you got that special treatment from my lips, Gorgeous." He said. "Well, don't I feel special." I said keeping a smile off of my face with great difficulty. "You should. I don't get up extra early to wait for anyone, you know." Blondie said. "I can't decide if that's really sweet, or really creepy." I said honestly. As we kept walking, I came to realize that I had no idea where the Owlery, therefore, I didn't know where my owl, Robin, was. "I think that you should decide that it's sweet, personally." Blondie smiled in a charming way. "Blondie, why don't you make yourself useful, and take me to the Owlery?" I said, ignoring his last comment. "Sure." He said. "As Head Boy I'm very capable of doing that." He said looking thoroughly pleased with himself. "Head Boy, huh?" I asked, trying not to sound too impressed. But that didn't stop me from being impressed. I mean, Head Boy? From what I hear, that's a very high honor. I saw his badge shining on his chest. So far Blondie didn't seem at all the way that Bree described him. He seemed funny and sweet. But then again she did say he only acted like that to reel girls in. "That's right. The one and only." Blondie said. "Interesting." I said simply. "So, Gorgeous, what possessed you to get up so early to send a letter? Is it to someone special? Hopefully not a boyfriend?" He asked. I chuckled. "I don't have a boyfriend, Blondie." I said. "And if I did, he would have dumped me by now because of all the kissing that's occured between you and me." "So, no boyfriend huh? Lucky me." He said. "Weren't you just asking about my letter?" "Right, don't want to rush anything, now do we? So, who is this letter for?" "My Mum." I answered, smiling slightly. "She worries about me a lot, so I just want her to know I'm okay and that I've been sorted into Slytherin." Blondie smiled. "That sounds nice." He said. "What about your Father?" I shrugged, trying to brush off the anger I had towards my Dad. "What about him? He doesn't care." Blondie doesn't respond, and there is silence. I curse myself for making things so awkward, but I also don't say anything. Finally, we reach the Owlery. I whistle, and Robin, my beautiful silvery-grey owl flies down onto my shoulder. Blondie tries to pet Robin, but she snaps her beak at him, in an attempt to bite him, but Blondie moved his hand in time. "Hey!" He exclaimed. I sniggered as I tied the letter to Robin's leg. "She bites." I informed him. "And so does her owner, so you'd better be careful." I turned towards the window, and Robin flew out of it. I felt Blondie right behind me. "Just so you know, I bite back." He whispered. "Great to know." I said turning around and walking past him. He followed right behind. Now that I had sent my letter, I was ready for some breakfast and a bit more reading of The Princess Bride. But, I wasn't sure how to get to the Great Hall from where we were. "Blondie, could you be a dear and take me to the Great Hall?" I asked. "I sure can. But you sure owe me a lot already. Not only did I welcome you so warmly last night, but I took you to the Owlery, and now I'm taking you to the Great Hall. You owe me favors, Gorgeous." He said. I rolled my eyes. "I'm sure I'll repay you somehow." "I already know how you can." He said. "Oh really?" I asked. "And how would that be?" I was sure I knew where this was going. "You could go down to the lake with me during break. Maybe we could do a bit of what we did last night." "I don't think that's going to work, Blondie." I said. "Why not?" He asked. "Because I don't even really know you. I'm not going to get involved with someone I don't know." I explained. "Well, what if you got to know me?" Blondie asked. I shrugged. "What if I did?" "Then would you consider my offer?" "Depends on if I actually like the guy I'm going to get to know." "I guess that's fair. But I'm pretty confident you'll like him." He smirked. "If you say so." I said. We had reached the Great Hall. Few students were in there. "Well, Blondie, thank you for the interesting morning. I'm going to have some breakfast." "Wait, before you go, what's your name?" He asked. "Rorie." I said smiling. "Rorie. I like that." He nodded. "Well, see you later, Gorgeous." I thought the whole point of finding out someone's name was to call them by that name. "Bye Blondie." I said. "Don't you want to know my name?" He asked curiously. "I already know who you are, Draco Malfoy." I said walking into the Great Hall. I couldn't help but wonder if there was another Draco Malfoy who was the jerk that Bree had described, because this Draco Malfoy was not a jerk at all. Draco's POV Putting my plan to make Gorgeous fall for me into action worked better than I thought. I had made her smile, and laugh, and Bree didn't come up once. Maybe Bree never mentioned me, which means my chances of getting Gorgeous just shot up. Now there's no reason for her not to like me. And she didn't seem mad about us snogging last night, so she must have liked it. Now all I have to get is get to know her, and then she'll be all mine, and I can figure out what is so special about her. As I walked back to the Head's Dorm, I thought of how I could get to know her. Should I follow her around and learn her habits? No that's creepy. I'd ask Blaise to help me out, but I don't think he'd approve. He wants me to forget about Gorgeous, and continue my ways of one nights stands and fooling around for a few weeks and then getting rid of the girls. But how can I do that when all I can think about is Gorgeous? I mean, after kissing her, there was no going back to my old ways. I had never felt like this before. Not even with my last real girlfriend, Pansy Parkinson. I mostly liked her because she was hot and she had no problem snogging in broom cupboards. I broke up with her because I was tired of being in a relationship. I felt too suffocated and constricted. I wanted to hook up with who I wanted, when I wanted and where I wanted. I couldn't do that if I was with her. She didn't take it very well, but I'd say she's over it now. Or at least I hope she is. I can't decide if my luck was really good or really bad. I feel that it's good, because Gorgeous is in my first class of the day. I feel that it's bad because so is Bree and Pansy. Bree won't stop glaring at me, Pansy won't stop giving me longing looks, and Gorgeous keeps avoiding eye contact with me. Merlin must hate me or something. The only good things are that Blaise is here, and my favorite teacher, Professor Snape is teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts. As Snape starts lecturing us on the Dark Arts, the door opens, and a guy from Ravenclaw, whose name escapes me rushes in. "Sorry I'm late, sir." He says. "Professor Flitwick wanted a word with me." Snape merely nods as the guy takes his seat with the other Ravenclaws. He examines the others in the room, and his eyes stop on Gorgeous. He manages to catch her eye, and she smiles at him and mouths "Hi." He says "Hi." back, and smiled at her. Funny she notices him, but she doesn't notice me. All right, not funny, in fact the complete opposite. How did she even know this guy? It was only her first day. What if she snogged him too?! That means I'm nothing special, and Gorgeous is just toying with my emotions. I don't like that. I decided to tune back in to Snape's lecture, so I wouldn't be lost or anything. "Split into partners and review non verbal spells. I want boy-girl pairings, since it is hard for some of you to concentrate." I managed to catch Gorgeous' eyes. I motioned between us, asking if she wanted to work with me. She glanced at Bree, whom Blaise had quickly made his way to so he could work with her. I don't know why he's allowed to like Bree, but I can't like Gorgeous. It's not fair. Before Gorgeous can respond, Pansy is in front of me. "Partners?" She asked a little loudly, and Gorgeous heard. She shrugged at me and went in seach of somone else. Shit. I sighed. "I guess." Pansy smiled sitting down. "So, um today during break, I was thinking you could come up to my room." She said. "None of the other girls will be there, and-" "Pansy, we broke up, remember?" I said quietly. "Well, of course I do. How could I forget about the guy I love shattering my heart?" She asked. "Uhh.." I couldn't really find a response. "Anyways, onto other matters, what's up with you and that new girl? I saw you two kissing last night. Everyone did." "Um, nothing is going between me and Gorgeous." I answered, hoping that was not at all true. "Gorgeous?! You already have pet names?!" She asked frantically. "What? No." I said quickly. "Rorie. Her name is Rorie. We're uh, we're friends." "Just friends?" Pansy asked. "Yeah, just friends." I said. "Excellent. So, what school does she come from?" "I don't know." I answered. "Well, did you ask her?" She asked. "Nooo..." I said slowly. That's it! I'll ask her questions, and I'll get to know her. After a long first half of the day, I walked out of Charms, ready for an hour break. I was walking to the Head's Dorm when I heard Rorie's voice. "So, do you have a break or class now?" She asked Bree. "Class." Bree answered. "Oh, well, guess I'll see you later then?" Gorgeous asked. "Yeah, we'll meet up at lunch though, okay?" Bree asked as she walked away. "Okay." Gorgeous answered. There she was all alone. A perfect time for us to get to know eachother. "Hey, Gorgeous!" I called running over to her. "Blondie, what a surprise." She said. "To what do I owe this pleasure?" "I thought now would be a good time for us to get to know eachother. " I said. "Well, I have no one else to hang out with, so sure." She shrugged. That didn't make me feel exceptionally good, to be honest, but at least she didn't reject me. "All right, um, what's your last name?" I asked. I knew girls liked a guy who was interested in small details like that. "Kern." She answered. "Do you have any siblings?" "One." I remembered the little girl that was there when I first met Gorgeous. She looked like a miniature version of her. "Umm, what school did you go to before this?" I asked. "I was homeschooled." She answered quietly. "Why were you homeschooled?" I was very curious. "I didn't like my old school." I could tell she didn't like this subject, so I decided to change it. "Do you know anyone here, besides me?" I asked, hoping to learn about her and that Ravenclaw guy. "Actually, I do. My cousin, Bree Hastings. I believe you know her?" I froze. She knew. Bree told her about the year before. I wanted to explain to her what really happened last year, tell her I didn't exactly do anything wrong, but I was frozen. "I'll make this easy for you. Go away, Blondie." She said coldly. "No, Gorgeous, just listen to me-" "Don't call me that." She interupted. "Rorie, please." I pleaded. "How stupid do you think I am?" She asked. "You have a girlfriend, and you're still trying to get with me?" "No! I don't have a girlfriend." I said. "Oh yeah, who's that girl in Defense Against the Dark Arts?" She asked. "She's nobody, she's my ex, I swear! I broke up with her before I even met you." I explained. "That doesn't change what you did to my cousin." "I know, but that has nothing to do with us." I insisted. "Us? There is no us. Let's not forget I don't know you." Rorie said crossing her arms in front of her. "All right, then let's continue, things were going well." I said. She shook her head. "I may not know you, but I know things about you." "What do you mean?" I asked. "I've heard things. Things I don't like, so if you'll excuse me, I'm going up to dormitory to read. Good bye Blondie." Gorgeous started walking away, but stopped and looked back at me. She didn't look angry, she looked sympathetic. She turned back around, dropping a tiny, ripped piece of parchment on the ground. She continued walking away. I walked over to the piece of parchment, and uncrumpled it. It read: I'm sorry, I had to. What did this mean? I followed the way Gorgeous had left. I stopped short when I heard Bree's voice. "See, Rorie, it wasn't so hard to get him to leave you alone was it?" "No." Gorgeous said quietly. Gorgeous only rejected me because of Bree. Looks like someone else had a plan that was put in to action. If Bree wanted to play dirty, then I could play dirtier. No way I was letting Gorgeous go without a fight. Rorie's POV About a week and a half had passed since I had spoken to Blondie. Everytime I saw him, I wanted to say hi, but Bree was always with me, and I couldn't risk her knowing. I really wanted to apologize to Blondie for treating him the way I did. I only did it because of Bree. She didn't force me to do it, but I went along with it. She had noticed that in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Blondie has asked if I wanted to work with him. She told me she had a way to get him to leave me alone. But she never asked if that's what I wanted. So, when she knew he was behind us, she said she had class, when she really didn't. And when me and Blondie started talking, she would follow us and listen. I had to find the perfect moment to bring up Bree. I felt bad while I was yelling at him and telling him there was no 'us'. I never wanted to say that, and seeing the hurt and shocked expression on his face made me feel even worse. By the end of the conversation, I couldn't even pretend to be mad anymore. Before I left, I dropped a tiny piece of ripped up parchment reading: I'm sorry, I had to I wanted him to know that doing that wasn't my choice. I honestly don't even think he noticed I dropped it. Since then he hasn't said a word to me, and all I get are charming smiles that I only return when Bree isn't looking. I should be happy, I got rid of the stranger kisser, with no regards for personal space. But I wasn't. I felt like I had made a big mistake. Bree and I were walking to our third class of the day, hers Herbology, and mine Potions. In front of us walked Blondie's ex girlfriend, known as Pansy Parkinson. I watched as she bumped into a girl, making all her books and papers fall, and just kept walking as though nothing happened. "What the hell?" I asked Bree. "She just bumped into that girl, and she didn't even apologize." Bree shrugged. "She doesn't have to." I was shocked about how casual Bree was taking this. I'm even more shocked that the girl doesn't even say anything to Pansy. She just starts picking up her things. "And why not?" I asked. "What gives her the right to be rude to people?" "Look, Rorie, Pansy Parkinson can do whatever she wants." Bree said. "She's like the Princess of Slytherin. But not only does she run Slytherin house, she runs the school. No one messes with her, unless they want to end up a social outcast with no friends." "Well, what if the person already had no friends?" I asked. "This is a serious matter." She insisted. "Pansy will destroy your reputation faster than you can say "what happened to my friends?". Everyone fears her, and you should too." I scoffed. "No, I shouldn't. No one should. Let me ask you something. Does anyone actually like her, or does everyone just fear her?" "No one likes her. She's a bitch." Bree said. "But that's the reason we fear her. She could ruin anyone." "Not me." I said. "I have no friends, no reputation..." "Don't think about it." She said firmly. "You don't need to go around making enemies. Okay?" "All right fine. I'll leave it alone...for now." By the middle of Potions, I had forgotten all about Pansy and her reputation for being a bitch. I was only focused on my potion, which Professor Slughorn announced as the best in the class, which earned Slytherin twenty points. At break, Bree and I walked around aimlessly when I hear from behind me. "Oi! New girl!" I assume this person means me, so I turned around to see none other than Pansy Parkinson marching towards me with her groupies. "What did you do?" Bree whispered. "Nothing!" I whispered back. Pansy finally reached us. "We need to talk new girl." She said. "I-" I interupted her. "Before we get to that, my name isn't 'new girl'. It's Rorie, okay? I'd appreciate it if you called me by name, thanks. You may continue." She stared at me dumb struck. She quickly recovered. "Let's get something straight here. You don't tell me continue, I tell you when to continue. Since you're new, I'll let you off with a warning." Okay this girl was irking me. "Actually, I'm going to let you off with a warning since you don't know me." I said. "I don't take orders from anyone, okay?" "You clearly don't know how it works around here. I. Run. This. School." She said slowly as if I was stupid or something. "So, you take orders from me. I'm the Princess of Slytherin. Get that in your head." I laughed. "You can't be serious. You honestly expect me to take orders from you? You need to get something in your head. I don't give a damn who you think you are, you are nothing to be feared." Pansy's faced is fixed in a shocked expression, apparently, I was the first to talk to her like that. Again, she recovered. "You'll see soon enough why I should be feared." She threatened. "I'm sorry, am I supposed to be scared?" I heard Bree whisper 'yes' behind me, but I ignored her. "Because I'm not. Not even a little bit. The girls at my old school were fifteen times worse than you. Hit me with your best shot." I smirked at her once again shocked face. If she continued with these expressions, her face was going to get stuck like that. "And another thing, Princess." I said taking step closer to her. "I hear it from your 'loyal' subjects that it's about time you've lost your crown." "Who said that?" She asked in bewilderment. I smiled. "Sorry, I can't divulge in names." "I swear, if you don't start talking-" "I already told you, you don't scare me. But, you do annoy me. Now wonder Blondie dumped you." At first she was confused. Then she realized who Blondie was. "You stay away from Draco." She growled. "He's mine." "Really, cause he told me he dumped you." She gets angrier. "And that you cried." He didn't really tell me she cried but now she was surely pissed. "But it's okay, cause I don't really want him, but he really wants me. You saw us kissing on the first night, didn't you?" "He only wants you for sex!" She exclaimed wildly. "We both know that's not true." I said. "You don't know anything!" Pansy yelled. She sure knew how to cause a scene. "Well, I know what kind of girl you are, Pansy. You're insecure with yourself, which is why you like making other feel bad about themselves. You sleep with tons of guys so you can feel pretty. But most of all, you're a bitch. A two-faced bitch who talks about people behind their backs." I said coldly. Pansy is stunned, she can't say anything. It took me until then to realize we have an audience. "I have some advice for you: if you're gonna have two faces, at least make one of them pretty." I whispered. First I thought she was going to hit me, but she stormed off, her groupies only a step behind. I let out a sigh, and turned to Bree. Her mouth was wide open. "What?" I asked innocently. She shook her head. "You're dead Rorie." She said. "She is going to destroy you. And everyone will shun you." "Someone had to stand up to her." I said in my defense. "And if standing up to her gets me shunned, then so be it. It was definitely worth it." "You know, if I didn't think what you just did was social suicide, I'd have to say that's the coolest thing I'd ever seen." Her face broke into a small smile. And so did mine. All day, people were pointing and whispering at me. For someone who was being shunned, I sure was famous. Finally, somene actually came up to me. "You're Rorie, right? The girl who told Pansy off today?" A brunette girl with blonde highlights asked. "Yeah..." I said slowly. "I just want to say what you did was amazing! I've never seen anyone stand up to Pansy like that. You definitely showed her." "Really?" Bree and I asked simotaniously. "Yeah." The girl said smiling. "Everyone thinks so. Some are even saying you're the new Princess of Slytherin. I agree with them. You're like our hero! Well, I got to get going. See you around, Princess." She said walking off. "So much for being shunned." I said Bree. "Wow, you're like a legend, Rorie! That's amazing!" Bree exclaimed. Hmm, Rorie Kern, Princess of Slytherin. That has a nice ring to it. Draco's POV Not talking to Gorgeous had to be the hardest thing I'd ever done. But I had to do it to get Bree off of her back. Not to mention I needed time to formulate a plan, so far I had nothing. I had no idea how I could even talk to Rorie again. It was damn near impossible to get the girl alone, so it was out of the question. I had never really hated Bree until now. She was keeping me away from Gorgeous, and it was killing me. All I could do was smile at her, and sometimes I didn't even get a smile back. Meawhile, Blaise is becoming suspicious. He's noticed that I haven't hooked up with any girls since school started. And since he knows I've got a thing for Gorgeous, he's starting to think that I'm persuing her. Which is true, but I don't want him to know that. The fact that he likes Bree doesn't help the situation. He thinks if I start something with Gorgeous, it will ruin his chances with Bree. The guy is beyond selfish. If he wasn't so selfish, he could help me with Gorgeous, by distracting Bree so I could her alone and just talk to her and convince her to give me one chance. That's all I needed. I'm so used to getting what I want, so this whole situation is so new to me. I don't think I'd go through this for any other girl...she's special. "Draco!" Oh, no, what have I done? Pansy only screamed like that when she was royally pissed at me. I never thought I'd have to hear it again once we broke up. Apparently I was wrong. "Yes?" I asked calmly. "You're stupid new girlfriend is a bitch!" She spat. "What girlfriend?" I asked. "Ronnie, or Rocky, or whatever the hell her name is. She embarassed me in front of everyone! She's going to pay!" "Wait, Rorie?" I clarified. "Yes. I don't know who she thinks she is! She said all of these horrible things, and she thinks she's going to get away with it? Ha! You really need better taste in girls!" Without letting me get another word in, she huffed away. What just happened? Blaise is somewhere with Bree, and just as luck would have it, Gorgeous is nowhere to be found. You'd think with me being Head Boy, it would be easy to find her, but it's not easy at all. Turning a corner too quickly, I run smack into someone, who cries out, grasping my neck, and I catch them around the waist to keep them from falling. Suddenly I'm looking into the sparkling, bright blue eyes of Gorgeous. I smile instantly. "Hey, Gorgeous." I said. "How's it going?" "Blondie!" She says, surprised. "Um, fine. Everything is fine." "What are the chances I'd run into you?" I asked. "I'm not exactly sure." She said freeing herself from my arms. Holding her like that felt so good. Feeling her so close to me gave me chills. "Well, I'd say it's something like fate." "I'd say things just happen like that. It's nothing special." She shrugged. I decided to change the subject. "How are you liking Hogwarts?" I asked. "It's nice." She smiled. Seeing her smile made me smile too. "That's great. It's too bad I didn't get to show you around though." Gorgeous said nothing, but she just looked down. "Rorie, I know why you rejected me." I said quietly. "Because you're a jerk that hurt my cousin?" She asked, with no hint of anger. "No, because Bree made you." I answered. She stared at me. "She didn't make me do anything." She said. "Well, did you ever agree to her plan?" No response. Which means no. "If you know, why did you leave me alone?" Gorgeous asked. "I wanted Bree to think I was over you, so she'd get off your back. I wanted things to be easier for you." I answered. "Oh. I thought you were really leaving me alone." A smirk came across my face. "You were worried, weren't you?" I asked. "Of course not." She replied. "Draco, after what happened with you and Bree, we can never..." She didn't finish. I had to tell her the truth. "Rorie, will you please let me explain about that?" I asked. She sighed. "Fine." "The thing is, it was Bree who hurt me, not the other way around." I started. "Bree was the one who persued me. I always thought she was pretty and nice, so I decided to try things out with her. I really liked her, until I found out that her hanging out with me was just some bet with her friends. She bet she could get me to fall for her. I was angry, so I wanted to get her back. I made her fall for me really hard, and then just dropped her. She told everyone that I hurt her really bad. It was just revenge." Gorgeous bit her lower lip thoughtfully. I knew she was trying to decide if I was telling the truth. "Does she know you found out?" She asked. I nodded. "And you just let her tell everyone that it was your fault?" "It's easier that way." I shrugged. "I believe you." She said. "I just can't believe Bree lied to me." "Please don't say anything to her. You have to keep this a secret." I said. "Okay." She whispered. "You're not as bad as Bree makes you seem...you're kind of sweet." "Sweet huh? If didn't know any better, I'd say you have a little thing for me, Gorgeous." She scoffed. "Oh, please! I do not, Blondie." "Why do you call me 'Blondie'?" I asked. "Why do you call me 'Gorgeous'?" She countered. "I asked you first." I said. "Fine, I call you 'Blondie' because you're blonde." "Well, I call you 'Gorgeous', because you are seriously gorgeous." She blushed, shaking her head. Did she not think she was gorgeous? "So, um, now that you know the truth, do you think maybe we could get to know eachother?" I asked. "Maybe." She answered. "If we do, Bree can't know. Otherwise, I'll be rejecting you again." "You have no idea that hurt my little ego." I said. Gorgeous snorted. "Yeah, right, 'little'." "Whatever. I just really want to know you. You fascinate me." I said staring her straight in the eyes. "Besides, I'm known as the Prince of Slytherin, and I should know about my new Princess." She laughed. "So you've heard about my little run in with Pansy?" "Yes, she personally yelled at me for it." I chuckled. "I hope I didn't upset her too much." Gorgeous smiled. "You did." Having Rorie as my Princess would be very nice, now that I think about it. Rorie's POV Getting to know Blondie was complicated. Every other day I changed my mind about him. One day I was telling him we couldn't talk to eachother anymore, the next, I was meeting him secretly somewhere. I couldn't stay away. It was exciting sneaking behind Bree's back and talking to him. She was so occupied with Blaise that she didn't even notice anything. Blondie was a very interesting person. His favorite color was black, he played Seeker and he was Captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team, his best subject was Potions, like he said when we first met, he's not much of a reader, and he hated the Head Girl, Hermione Granger. Everyday I learned something new and I became more intrigued with him. But I wasn't being stupid. I was still very aware of his reputation with girls, but for now being his friend was very nice. I could tell he still wanted something more, but I wasn't giving in so easily, I still didn't see how it could work out between us. We were two different people. "There he is." Bree nudged me. "Who, Draco?" I asked, my voice a tad bit too hopeful. "Um. No. That cute guy from Ravenclaw who's been eyeing you since the first night." She said pointing to him. He was really cute, and he didn't have a reputation for shagging girls. He waved at me, I waved back. I still didn't know his name. I'd put that on my list of things to do. "Why did you think I was talking about Draco?" Bree asked. I shrugged. "I thought you were saying he was staring at me again or something." I was getting so much better at this lying thing. "Oh." She said. "Well, do you think your cute little Ravenclaw boyfriend will be at the party on Friday night?" "He's not my boyfriend, and what party?" I asked. "Not yet, and the one in the Ravenclaw common room. I suppose he'll be there over seeing things." She answered. "Well, I don't see how we'd find out." I said. "I do." Bree said. "We're going." "To the party?" "No, to the library. Of course to the party." "But we're Slytherins." I said. "Very good observation." She said patting my arm. I swatted her hand away. "How are we going to get in?" "Um, we're hot." Bree said as though it was the most obvious thing. "I don't think that's going to get us in." I uncertaintly. Bree smirked. "Well, you're thinking wrong, Princess." I hate to admit it, but I was wrong. Friday night, we got in the Ravenclaw common room no problem. We just had to smile and bat our eyes and we were in. I looked around in amazement. I hadn't been to a real party in about four years. I barely remembered what it was like. While looking around I not only spotted cute Ravenclaw boy, but also Blondie with Blaise. "How did they get in here?" I asked. "Same way we did. They're hot." Bree answered. "I'm going to hang out with Blaise. You going to be all right?" "Um, yeah, go have fun with Blaise." I said. I looked around for a place to sit. I had spotted one when I heard from behind me "Can I get you a fire whiskey?" I turned to see cute Ravenclaw boy grinning at me. "Actually I won't be drinking fire whiskey tonight. Do you have butterbeer?" I asked smiling. "Yes we do." He answered. "So, not drinking tonight huh? Well there's going to be another party in a few weeks, you should come if you feel like drinking." I blushed slightly at the invitation. "To be honest, I don't drink at all." "Really?" He asked. I nodded. "I like that. So, I'm going to get your drink. When I get back what might I call you?" "Rorie." I offered. "And what should I call you?" "Tristan." He answered smiling. "Wait right here, I'll be back." He said. I smiled after him. I liked his name, it was nice. Tristan was back very quickly and he handed me a butterbeer. "Thank you." I said. "You're very welcome." Tristan said. "So, how are you liking Hogwarts?" "A lot actually. This place is pretty amazing." "Yeah it is. I still can't believe it's my last year here." He said. I nodded, because I didn't fully understand how he was feeling. I adjusted the book in my hand. Tristan looked down at the book and grinned. "You brought a book to a party?" He asked. "Yeah, parties aren't really my thing." I shrugged. "What is your thing?" "Reading and having some time to myself." "Well I really hope I'm not ruining that." He said. I smiled. "You're not...surprisingly." "Why don't we sit down? I'd love to talk to you a little more." Tristan suggested. "Just a little?" I asked. "Maybe a lot." He winked. I sat down with him. I told him about the book I was reading and other books I had read. Unlike Blondie, he actually liked reading, and we even liked some of the same books. He had a great laugh that was awfully contagious and sometimes we would laugh for five minutes straight. Tristan told me multiple times that talking to me was so easy and that from the moment I had bumped into him on the first day he had felt a kind of connection with me. I agreed with him, but not immediately. I didn't want to seem desperate and too interested. I think it was working out pretty well too. I hadn't even thought about Blondie until Tristan left to get some more drinks and Blondie came over. Draco's POV I was surprised to see Gorgeous show up at this party in the Ravenclaw common room. It didn't seem like the kind of place she'd be. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Bree who convinced her to come. She probably didn't count on me being here though. She doesn't seem to care, since she's off somewhere with Blaise, who still hadn't made his move yet. I was closer to getting Gorgeous than he was to getting Bree, because at least Rorie knew for sure I liked her. Blaise was messing around making sure he'd have Bree right where he wanted her when he was ready to make his move. Anyways, the moment Blaise and Bree disappeared, I was making my way over to Gorgeous, when that Ravenclaw guy who's been eyeing her all year beat me to her. He got her a drink, and they sat down and started talking. I watched jealously wondering what they were talking about and disliking the way they would laugh for so long. What could a guy like that say to make her laugh so much? He didn't seem funny, he seemed boring. For Merlin's sake, the guy's a Ravenclaw, how funny could he be when all he does is read? That's when it struck me that's all that Gorgeous does too. He had an advantage against me. Rorie could talk about books for days on end, and he be willing to listen. I would too, but he would actually be able to put in his opinion, and I wouldn't. Rorie loves hearing other's opinion on things. She says it's like a bit of insight into the person. She likes insight. Unfortunately with books I had no insight to give. She's so damn smart and sometimes I wonder if she thinks I'm stupid. I wasn't nearly as smart as this Ravenclaw guy, but I wasn't as thick as Crabbe and Goyle. I was somewhere in the middle. But would that be enough for her? Finally the Ravenclaw guy left Rorie alone, so I went quickly over to her. "Hey Gorgeous," I said giving her my most charasmatic smile. "Well, hello Blondie." She said. "What brings you over here?" I saw her eyes dart around quickly to see if Bree was anywhere in sight. She wasn't. "Just wanted to say hi." I answered. "So, where did your friend go?" "Who, Tristan?" Finally a name! I should start paying more attention to things like that. He's a prefect, I should know his name. "He went to go get more drinks." Gorgeous continued. "Maybe check on a few things too. He's a prefect so..." her voice trailed off. He may be a prefect, but I'm Head Boy. I have power over him. Ha! I beat him at something at least. "Oh." I said. "Well isn't that great?" "It is. You'd like Tristan. He's smart, funny, ambitious." "Yeah, I get it, he's bloody perfect!" I snapped, unable to control myself. Rorie looked at me shocked. Then a look of realization came across her face. She smirked. "Don't tell me you're jealous, Blondie." "I won't." I said moodily. I was jealous. But I had a right. She was openly flirting with some smart guy. "But you are jealous?" She asked. "I never said that." I said. "You are!" She exclaimed. "The great Draco Malfoy is jealous!" "I am not...and did you just call me great?" It was my turn to smirk. She shrugged. "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. You'll never know." "It doesn't surprise me that you did. I am pretty damn great." I said winking at her. "And oh so modest." She said sarcastically. "I'm back." A voice that I knew belonged to Tristan said. He handed Rorie a drink. "Thanks." She said smiling. I was in no mood to be a third wheel. So I clasped my hands together and said. "I guess I'll be going. See you later Gorgeous." "Bye Blondie." She said before I walked away. -- "Stop staring at her." Blaise hissed at me. "Huh?" I said turning to him. "Stop looking at Rorie." He repeated. "I thought you were going to leave this alone." "Who says I'm not?" I asked. Blaise rolled his eyes. "Look, I'm not as nδive as Bree is. I know you two are sneaking around to see eachother." I said nothing. If I lied he'd see right through me. He continued. "You know things won't work out with her. You'll get bored soon enough, and then you'll hurt her. Then she'll hate you. Do you want that again?" "No." I said. "It's different with her. There's something about her, I just...I can't shake this feeling. I don't just want her, I need to have her. I need to find out why she has a hold on me." I explained. "Well, don't get too attatched." He advised. "Don't forget the pact." "I won't." I said absently. Honestly, at that moment I couldn't even think of what pact he was talking about. I was too focused on the fact that Gorgeous had just smiled and waved at me. After the party, my time was split. I spent half my time with Tristan and the other half with Blondie. A better way of saying it that when Bree was around, I was with Tristan and when she wasn't I was with Blondie. I felt like I was living a double life. A quiet comfortable life with Tristan and then a dangerous risky life with Blondie. It was exhilerating. I had learned a lot about both boys lately. Tristan loved to read, his favorite subject was Transfiguration, and one day he wanted to write a book and teach Transfiguration. Draco on the other hand loved playing jokes on people, couldn't wait to leave school, and one day he wanted to be Minister of Magic. I find them both very attractive, only I don't know who I find most attactive. In my head, I know it should be Tristan. We have so much in common, we read, we like school, we're both smart. But my heart is completely and utterly drawn to Draco because we're so different. He excites me and challenges me, where as Tristan seems to agree with everything I say. Sometimes it's nice, other times it bothers me. "So, when do you think he'll ask you out?" Bree asked. "Who, Tristan?" I asked. "Of course Tristan, who else?" She asked. "No one." I said quickly. "Okay, then. Will you say yes?" "I wouldn't say no." I said carefully. "What does that mean?" Bree asked. "You're asking a lot of questions." I said flipping the pages of my book nervously. "Yeah, and I'm not getting a lot of answers." She replied. "I'm just kind of focused on this book." I said. "Oh, that's all you had to say." She shrugged. "You were acting as though you were hiding something." "Of course not." I lied. One thing I love about Hogwarts is the castle is magnificent. It's beautiful and big, and I love walking around, getting lost in it. I was walking around the fifth floor one evening. It was getting close to curfew, but I didn't care much. I was never caught, and if I was, I was sure either Draco or Tristan would help me out. It's nice having friends in high places. I was walking past a broom closet when I heard. "Rorie." I stopped immediately and looked around. No one else was in sight, I guess I just imagined. I took no more than two steps when I heard it again. "Rorie!" I realized it was coming from the closet. I didn't like the idea of someone or something in a broom closet calling my name. But I walked towards it anyway, very slowly. "Rorie." The voice said again. I was right in front of it now. It was opened a crack. I reached out and started opening it when someone grabbed my arm and pulled me in. I was screaming, flailing my arms all over the place, trying to hit the person. "Rorie!" The person was saying, trying to get me to stop, but I didn't. "Gorgeous!" I stopped. Suddenly there was light and Draco was in front of me, looking slightly dishelved. I shoved him away. "What's the matter with you?!" I asked bewildered. "I just wanted to get you alone." He shrugged. "Did you have to get me alone in a broom closet while scaring me half to death?" I asked. "Well, I didn't have to necessarily." He replied grinning. "You think you're funny, don't you?" I asked. "I think I'm hilarious and you love it." Blondie continued grinning. "Well, you're thinking wrong, sorry." I said. He pulled me closer to him. "Prove it." He whispered. I'll admit I was having a hard time proving it. Especially with his face coming closer to mine. Suddenly there was a series of loud popping noises. I freaked out a little. "What is that?! Are we being attacked or something?! Draco, do something!" "What do you want me to do?" He asked. "You're Head Boy, go investigate!" I said. "All right. But you know, it sounds pretty dangerous out there. In case I don't make it out, we should kiss." "Oh, all right!" I said, kissing him hard on the mouth. "Now go!" I shouted. Draco opened the door slightly, the popping noises hadn't stopped, but they were farther away. He walked out. A few moments later I heard him shout "Hey, what the hell are you doing?!" A moment later he shouted "Hey!" I couldn't just sit there and wait. I exited the closet slowly and walked into pure darkness. I couldn't see a single thing. "Draco!" I called. "Draco? Blondie?" "Rorie!" He responded. "Where are you?" "I don't know, I can't see anything." I answered. "Me either. Uh, just follow my voice. Use the wall, okay?" Draco said. "Okay." I said. I found my way to the wall and started moving in the direction of his voice. "Say something." I said to him. "Gorgeous." He said. I rolled my eyes, but realized I was close. I kept going until I could feel him near me. A few more steps and I was touching him. I must have been touching a book or something, because whatever my hand was on was almost as hard as the wall. "What is this?" I asked moving my hand up and down. "That would be my body." He said, sounding amused. I quickly withdrew my hand. "Oh, sorry." I said, glad he couldn't see me. I was probably red as a tomatoe. I never knew people actually had rock hard abs until then. "Oh, it's fine." Blondie said. "Stop it." I said. "Stop what?" He asked. "Stop smirking." "How do you know I was?" "I just do." I said. "Can we please find a way out of here?" I asked. "All right. Let's go." He grabbed my hand and we started walking. "What happened?" I asked. "Some third years were setting off fireworks. When I caught them, one of them threw down some Instant Darkness Powder." He explained. "Oh." I said. We walked in silence, until finally we were no longer surrounded by darkness. "Damn it, they got away." Draco grumbled. In the middle of the hall was a plant. One I recognized as a Mimbulus mimbletonia. "Hey, what's that?" Draco asked approaching it. I followed him. "Be careful, it's a Mimbulus mimbletonia." I said. "Oh, I've heard of these things." He said as he started prodding it with his wand. "Blondie don't do that." I warned. "Oh, calm down Gorgeous. It's fine." He assured me. "No, it's no-" I was cut off by the thick liquid known as Stinkspat squirted from the plant all over me and Draco. "Oops." He said. My eyes were closed tightly. I could tell just from feeling that I had Stinkspat in my eyes. If I opened them without flushing them with water, I could possibly go blind. "Draco." I said trying to stay calm. "You have to get me to some water, I have to flush my eyes out. There is Stinkspat in them." "How can you be sure? Here just open your eyes." "No!" I protested. "If I do, I could lose my sight." "But I thought it wasn't poisonous." He said sounding worried. "If it touches your eyes it is, now hurry!" I said. "Okay, I'll take you to my common room." He said grabbling my hand and pulling me along quickly. He then stopped and picked me up, clearly I wasn't running fast enough. "Wait, go back to the closet, my bag is in there." I said. I couldn't see, but I assumed he listened to me. He was running. "Hurry!" I said urgently. Draco ran faster. He mumbled a password I couldn't understand because I was freaking out too much. I felt him running up the stairs. He set me down on hard surface, which I assumed was a counter and turned on the water. I felt the water on my face, his hands rubbing my eyes frantically. He did this for about two minutes and then stopped. "Is that enough?" He asked. I slowly opened my eyes to see his worried expression. "I'm fine." I assured him. Blondie let out a sigh of relief. "Whew, that scared me." "Had you worried, did I Blondie?" I asked, smirking. "A little." He said. I smiled looking at him. He was covered in Stinkspat. I looked down at myself, I didn't look any better. "We need a shower." I stated. "Yes we do." He said. "Hold it right there." He walked out of the bathroom. I looked around, it was really nice in there. The shower was huge. Draco came back, carrying what looked like clothes. "What is that?" I asked. "Bathing suits." He answered. "For what?" I asked. "For showering, unless you want to go naked, which I'm fine with." He grinned. "I'm sorry, we're showering together?" I clarified. "Yes, now get changed Gorgeous." He said handing me a bikini and walking out again. I sighed, but did as I was told. The bikini was cute. I might keep it. I turned on the shower and hopped in, the hot water felt amazing. A few moments later Draco joined me. I gaped as my eyes raked over his body, I thought touching it was good, but looking at it was great. I looked away quickly before he could tell. I could feel his eyes on me as well. "Eyes up here, Blondie." I snapping to get his attention. "Sorry." He said not sounding the least bit sorry. I scrubbed the gross thick liquid off of my body, he did the same. Whenever I thought he wouldn't notice, I would sneak a peek at his abs. I was definitely enjoying the view. "Do you like the shower?" Blondie asked. "Abs a matter-as a matter of fact, I do." I hoped he hadn't noticed my slip up. He was smirking slightly, so I think he did. We were silent for the next few minutes, just scrubbing ourselves. I could feel his eyes again. "Now, Blondie, we muscle-musn't stare, it's quite rude." What was wrong with me? "I'd say sorry again, but that would be a lie." He said grinning. After washing out our hair, we were done. "Where are my clothes?" I asked as I wrapped a fluffy towel around myself. "Soaking. Had to find some way to get the Stinkspat off." Draco answered. "What am I supposed to wear? I can't walk to my common room in a bikini." I said. "You can wear a shirt of mine, and I don't think you'll be getting to your common room tonight. You'll have to spend the night." He said. "Are you serious?" I asked. "I won't try anything on you, I swear, you know, unless you want me to." He didn't smirk or grin. He was serious. "All right fine." I said. "I trust you." A few minutes later I was standing in front of the mirror in Draco's black button up shirt. For some reason I loved the way it looked on me. Draco's POV Gorgeous walked out of the bathroom, wearing my shirt. I don't think I'd ever been so attracted to anyone. She looked so sexy with her hair all wet and wearing my shirt. I hate myself for saying I wouldn't try anything on her. There are a few things I want to try on her if we're being honest. She went over to her bag immediately, and brought it over to my bed. As she sat down she looked at me for the first time since exiting my bathroom. "Where is your shirt?" She asked. "I don't sleep with a shirt on." I replied. "Does that bother you?" "Of course not." She answered. "Why would it?" I shrugged and then smirked. "Maybe because it's a distraction. Or maybe you'll be tempted?" Rorie scoffed, but said nothing. I think I was right. I went and sat down on my bed too. "You kinda like me, huh, Gorgeous?" I asked. "What makes you think that?" She asked. She always had to answer my question with a question "Because you kissed me today." I said. "That's only because of the situation. Don't get excited Blondie." She said. "Oh, please. We both know that was just some lame excuse to get you to kiss me. You wanted to, admit it." I said. "I'll admit nothing." Gorgeous said. I shook my head at her amused. I was winning, and she knew it. She started pulling books out of her bag, and I smiled she was so cute. "What are you reading now?" I asked. She couldn't help but smile. "One of my favorites. It's called The Notebook. It's by a muggle author Nicholas Sparks. It's a beautiful story." "What's it about?" I asked curiously. "It's about this man at a retirement home who reads to this woman with Alzheimers a story about two teenagers, Noah and Alli who fall in love over summer, and then break up. Then years later they meet up again." She explained. "Do they get back together?" I asked. "You'll have to read to find out." She said. "Hmm." I said. "What about the other one?" "That one is called A Walk to Remember. It's by Nicholas Sparks too." Rorie said patting the cover. "It's about a popular guy named Landon who falls in love with a quiet, shy girl named Jamie. But Jamie is reluctant to fall in love with him because he's known to be a jerk and has a bad reputation with girls." I noted how similar it was to what was going on bewtween me and Gorgeous. "Not to mention, Jamie has a big secret she's hiding." Rorie finished. I couldn't help but wonder if this was also apart of our situation. Did Rorie have some big secret she's hiding? "What's the secret?" I asked. "You have to read." She laughed. "Fine." I said. "Give me the book." "You're actually going to read it?" She asked in disbelief. "Yeah, I want to find out what the secret is." I said. A huge smile came across her face. "Okay." She handed me the book. It was small, it didn't seem to have no more than two hundred pages. I climbed under my cover and got in a comfortable reading position. Gorgeous did the same. "Make sure you stay on your side." She said smiling slightly. "Same goes for you." I said grinning. I saw her smile widen. We started reading. The book was pretty good. The thing Muggles come up with are insane. Every so often, Gorgeous would say something out loud to her book. "Just kiss her already!" She shouted at one point. I found that absolutely adorable. The way she got excited about a book, even when she'd already read it was attractive for some reason. Before long, Rorie fell asleep. Her book laying on her stomache. I removed the book, careful not to wake her, and pulled the cover over her more so she wouldn't be cold. I stared down at her for a moment. She was just so beautiful, even when she was asleep. I leaned down and gently pressed my lips against hers. I wondered if she was awake if she would have kissed me back. "No! No! Stop!" I'm startled awake by Rorie's cries. She's flailing her arms all over the place and crying out. "Please stop! Let me go." "Rorie?" I ask shaking her, but she doesn't wake. Instead I'm met with her fist against my jaw. "Ouch!" I cried rubbing my jaw in pain. "Stop no!" She continues shouting and flailing. I grab her arms and hold them down and wrap my arms around her. She fights me for a few moments, and then stops and falls silent. She's breathing calmly as though nothing happened. I let her go, and straighten out the covers again. When that's done, I pull Rorie close to me and wrap my arm around her. I know she told me to stay on my side, but I had to keep the nightmares away. Rorie's POV I woke up to the sound of someone banging on the door. "Malfoy! You and whatever slut you shagged last night get up and get your clothes from soaking!" The voice of Hermione Granger shouted. "Shut up Granger!" Draco yelled back. "And for your information Rorie is not a slut!" I opened my eyes and turned to look at him. "Thanks." "No problem." Draco smiled. I looked down and saw his arm wrapped around me. "I thought we agreed to stay on our own sides." "Couldn't help myself. You needed comforting." He said. "Comforting?" I asked. "You were having a nightmare or something. Screaming and flailing around. I made it stop. By the way you've got a hell of a right hook." He rubbed his jaw that looked slightly swollen. "I hit you?" I groaned. "Yeah, but it's fine, I forgive you. I'll just add to the list of favors you already owe me." Draco grinned. "Yeah, whatever Blondie." I said smiling. He got out of bed and for a moment I admired his body and then quickly looked away before he noticed. I also got up. Draco looked over at me and smiled. "What?" I asked. "Nothing, I just like the way my shirt looks on you." He said. I looked down and admired it. "How does it look on me?" I asked. "Extremely sexy." He answered. I smiled. "Thanks." "My pleasure, Gorgeous." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the room. We went downstairs where Granger sat on the couch going over her homework. She looked up. "Rorie Kern." She said matter of factly. "You have joined the other girls Malfoy has shagged and will eventually tossed aside." Damn, does everyone know about his reputation as a man whore? She tsked. "I honestly thought you were smarter than that." I don't even have a chance to respond, Draco beat me to it. "Rorie is smarter than that and I will not be tossing her, not that it's any of your business you nosy Mudblood." He sneered. "Watch your mouth." Granger snapped. "Watch what you say about Rorie." He retorted. "Don't say a word against her, and I'll never call you that again." She huffed and got up, walking out. "She's lovely." I said sarcastically. "Yeah she's a real joy." His tone dripped with sarcasm also. "Thanks for standing up for me." I said squeezing his hand. A smile came across his face. "No, problem, Gorgeous." He said. "Now, my Princess let's go get your clothes." "You can't call me Princess and Gorgeous." I said. "How about Princess Gorgeous?" Draco suggested. "Well, then I get to call you Prince Blondie." I laughed. "I kinda like that." He smirked slightly. I shook my head. After we were dressed and ready for the day, we left the Head's commmon room and went to the Great Hall. On the way there we received some weird looks. We entered the Hall together, I wasn't even thinking about the fact that Bree could see us. "Thanks for everything last night." I said quietly as we approached the Slytherin table. "Just think of it as yet another favor you owe me." Draco said winking as he walked away from me. I smiled as I sat down next to Bree. "I can't believe you!" She said the moment I sat down. "What?" I asked. "You spent the night with Draco!" She said. "Yeah, but nothing happened." I protested. She snorted. "Yeah, right, everyone knows you slept with him." "I did, but we didn't have sex." I said. "You expect me to believe that?" She asked. "Um, yeah, cause it's true!" I exclaimed. "All we did was read last night for your information." Bree calmed down a bit. "Really?" She asked. "Yes, really." I said. "Who do you think I am some slut?" "I'm sorry, it's just hard to believe a girl could spend the night with Draco and not have sex with him." "It was actually really easy to do. Draco didn't try anything on me." I smiled. "Why exactly did you spend the night?" She asked. I told her the story, leaving out the kiss and his wonderful body and the showering together. The few weeks after that, I kept my distance with Draco. Bree was too much on our trail and I couldn't have that. Draco seemed really disappointed, but he understood. One Friday evening I was walking around the castle sadly. I had been really sad lately. I think it's because I missed Allie and Mum so much. Suddenly I heard the sound of rain and thunder and a flash of lightening. I immediately went outside and stood in the rain, watching the lines of lightening cut through the sky. "Rorie!" I heard someone call. "Rorie is that you?" "Yeah!" I answered, still not sure whom I was speaking to. I saw Draco coming towards me. "What are you doing out here? You trying to catch pnemonia?" He asked. "I like watching the lightening." I said. "It's beautiful." "You are truly something else, Gorgeous." He said. I turned to him, a serious look on my face. "Stop call me that." A look of slight hurt and confusion came across his face. I always said that, but usually I was joking. This time I was serious. "Why?" Draco asked. "Because I'm not gorgeous!" I yelled over the rain. "And I'm not wonderful or amazing or beautiful or a Princess or perfect! All right?! So stop saying that bullshit!" Draco just stared at me for a moment, the rain sliding down his blank face. Suddenly he put both hands on either side of my face. "You listen to me." He said quietly. "You are gorgeous. And amazing and smart as hell. And you're a Princess, babe. What's more, you're perfect. To me you are perfect. All right? That's not bullshit, it's the truth. You're perfect babe." He whispered before his lips covered mine. He kissed me with so much passion, our lips easily sliding against eachother's, due to the rain. All at once I felt all those things. I felt gorgeous and amazing and like a Princess and perfect. Draco's hands left the back of my neck and wrapped around my waist, bringing me closer. But as he did so, I lost my balance on the slippery grass and fell backwards, bringing Draco with me. We slid down the grassy hill right into the mud, screaming the whole way. We finally stopped sliding and just lay next to eachother in silence for a moment. He grabbed my hand and looked over at me smiling. I smiled back as he hovered over me and kissed me. Putting my hand on the back of head and kissed him back. I didn't care that our faces, along with our whole bodies were covered in mud. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever experienced. Draco stopped kissing me and wiped some mud off my face, laughing. "You're a mess, love." He said. I laughed too. "Yeah, so are you." "I think we need a shower." He said grinning. "I agree." I smiled. During the shower, I didn't have to worry about oggling Draco. I was too busy kissing him. Every chance he got he'd press his lips against mine and back me into the wall of the shower. After what seemed forever we got out of the shower. I again was spending the night. I pulled on a shirt of Draco's with a smile on my face as I admired it in the mirror. I walked out and sat next to a shirtless Draco on the bed. I reached out for my bag and pulled out a pair of fluffy socks. As I pulled them on, Draco laughed. "What, my feet were cold last time!" I said. "Did you plan on spending the night again or something? You're carrying them around." Draco asked. "It was just in case. And good thing too. It's freezing in here." I said. Draco slid his hand up my thigh, leaned close and whispered. "I could heat things up if you want." Draco's POV I don't know what came over me. I didn't want to pressure Rorie or try anything on her but I couldn't help it. There she was again, wearing my shirt and her hair was wet and we snogged a million times in the shower together. And that wasn't enough. I wanted her. All of her. Right now. Rorie looked at me for a moment, not sure how to respond. I knew she was going to reject me which would make the rest of the night awkward. She nodded and said. "Okay." I was shocked. Did she just agree to hook up with me? I guess she did, cause she leaned in to kiss me. I slid my other hand up her thigh and moved closer. Her arms wrapped around my neck tightly. We broke the kiss for a moment. I pulled Rorie in my lap, making her straddle me. As she kissed me again, she ran her fingers through my hair wildly, turning me on even more. Before I knew it, the bulge in my pants. Rorie gasped a little against my lips as her hand accidentally grazed it. Was she going to stop now? I was worried. But she didn't stop. In fact she kissed me harder and more passionatly. Her hands ran down my chest and I groaned with pleasure. I slowly laid back, not wanting to move too fast until finally I was on my back. I loved the feeling of Rorie on top of me. I still couldn't believe it. Had I finally won her over? She started tracing kisses down my jawline, to my neck. She lightly nibbled on my neck, I even felt her sucking a litte. I moaned loudly. "Shh..." Rorie whispered in my ear. How does she expect me to do that when she's driving me mad and turning me on so much? But I tried to do as she said. She gently bit my earlobe and again I moaned. Her index finger ran down my lips, signalling me to be quieter. But I couldn't help it. She was getting too in control. As much as that turned me on, I want to control her and have her at my will. I rolled over on top of her, kissing her on her soft lips again. I pinned her arms about her head, gently at first not wanting to be agressive, but she kept fighting. Damn she's so sexy. Eventually she accepted the fact that I would continue to pin her down. I continued kissing her deeply, surprised I hadn't ripped her clothes off. I'm not sure if she wants to go that far, and I'm okay if she doesn't, but Merlin if she does, there's no telling what I'll do to her. I bit her lip as I pulled away, causing her to let out a long moan. I was turning her on too. Maybe tonight would be the night I finally make love to Rorie. It's only been about three months, but it felt more like three years that I've been waiting. I stopped pinning one of her arms to run my hand down her body and gently caress her thigh. She slowly wrapped her leg around me, allowing me to get closer. I removed my lips from hers. Rorie was breathing heavily and looking up at me lustfully. I was seriously ready to have her right then and there. But I calmed myself down. I had to remind myself that Rorie isn't like the other girls I've been with. She's special, and I'm not gonna screw things up with her just because I can't control my sexual needs. I started kissing her neck as I unbuttoned my shirt currently on her. She wore her bikini under my shirt, and she looked so damn good in it too. I unpinned other arm and just as I did, we quickly flipped us over and once again she was on top of me. She took the unbuttoned shirt off and threw it to the floor. Things were getting intense now. Rorie smirked at me as she leaned down but didn't kiss me. Instead she held her face inches from mine. How dare she tease me?! I leaned up and captured her lips with mine and pulled her down farther. She easily gave into me, putting her hands on the side of my face and kissing me back passionately. I wrapped my arms around her waist as she pulled away and started kissing me all over. My face, my neck, my chest. That was it. I couldn't take it anymore. Either we were having sex or we were stopping now before I lose control. "Rorie." I gasped. "Hmmm?" She asked, not bothering to stop. "W-we should stop." I managed. Rorie stopped and looked down at me confused. "Why do you not want this?" "No, I do." I said. "That's the problem. I want it really bad, but I don't want to take advantage of you." A sly grin came across her face as she leaned down. "What if I want you to take advantage of me?" She whispered seductively. That's it. She asked for it. I kissed her again, roughly this time. She kissed me back with the same intensity. I held her against me tightly, wanting to be as close as possible. My hand slid up her back to untie her bikini top as somone banged on my door and then opened it. There was no time to get Rorie off of me. Granger entered my room with a look of disgust on her face. "Oh, Rorie, you're back. Why aren't I surprised?" Rorie blushed slightly at our current position. "I don't care what you two do, just do it quietly. Ron and I can hear you all the way downstairs." Granger continued before turining on her heel and slamming the door. "That was awkward." Rorie stated. "Yeah. Granger is just jealous because she and Weasley don't have sex enough." I said. Rorie giggled. I realize then that Granger had kind of ruined the mood. I'm not saying I was no longer in the mood to make love to Rorie, but it's just not the same feeling it was two minutes ago. I could tell she felt the same. She smiled and kissed me and then rolled off me. We silently came to the agreement that we wouldn't have sex tonight. I intertwined my fingers with hers, she squeezed my hand. "So, big game tomorrow." She said. "Yep." I answered. "You'll be cheering me on, right?" "Of course." She smiled. "And I better not see a book. I want you to watch the whole match." I half joked. Rorie laughed. "Fine, no books." "Good." I said kissing her again. I couldn't get enough of her lips. I pulled away a long while later. "You should get some sleep so you'll be rested for tomorrow." She said. "You're right." I said. After we straighten out the covers, Rorie climbs underneath as I turn out the lights. I climbed under too. I didn't hesitate to wrap my arm around her. She snuggled closer to me and I kissed her one last time. She rested her head on my chest, with her arm across me stomache. I could used to this I thought as I drifted off to sleep with thoughts of Rorie on my mind. Rorie's POV I sighed deeply as I wake up. My head is resting on Draco's hard, yet comfortable chest. The memories of the night before flooded back to me and strangely enough I didn't regret a single thing that happened the night before. I liked Draco and I wasn't afraid of him knowing. But was still afraid of Bree knowing. That posed as a problem. I felt Draco stir under me. He gently strokes my head. "Morning love." He says in a groggy, rough voice, which I find extremely attractive. "Good morning." I said sweetly. "Last night was incredible." "If you thought that was incredible wait until we go a bit farther, that will be outrageous." He smirked. "Mmm, can't wait. " I said seductively as I kissed his chest. "Oh babe, don't do that. You know how mad you drive me." Draco said. "No I don't know." I said innocently as I continued. He pulled me on top of him and kissed me on the mouth. "You're such a tease." He whispered. I bit my lip. "What ever do you mean?" I asked. He shook his head and kissed me again. I kissed back. "How the hell am I supposed to focus on the game when my mind is going to be thinking about touching you the whole time?" "Make it your motivation." I said. "If you win, you'll get to touch me. If you lose you don't." "Well then I guess I'll be catching that Snitch first, huh?" Draco asked grinning. "That's what I'd do if I was you." I smiled. Again our lips locked. A loud knock was on the door. "Malfoy, Kern!!" Granger shouted. "What,Granger?!" Draco shouted back. "Get up you have a game to lose!" She said. "I'm already up! And we're going to win today you bushy hair nuisance!" I giggled at his choice of words. He cocked an eyebrow at me and I stopped laughing. "Whatever." I heard Granger mutter before hearing her retreating footsteps. "What was so funny?" He asked. "You said 'nuisance'. Someone has been doing their reading." I laughed. "I had to find some way to impress you, didn't I?" He ward chuckling. "Big words don't impress me." I said. "Obviously that's why I like you." I chuckled. Draco said nothing he just stared up at me with a frozen smile on his face. "What?" I asked. "You-you like me?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, Blondie I do." I said. "Oh. I like you too." He said. "Really? I had no idea." I said sarcastically. "Well, I did very good with hiding it huh?" He winked. "So good." I whispered, leaning down and kissing him. A few minutes later, we finally got out of bed. We were getting dressed when Draco turned to me. "Um...hey Rorie..." He said. "Yeah?" I said. "Do you maybe want to...I don't know wear my jersey?" He asked. I smiled. "Don't you have to wear it?" I asked. "I mean my old one." He said smiling back. I nodded. "Yeah, I would love to wear your jersey." I said. "Brilliant." He said handing it to me. I pulled it on. It was slightly too big, but it was comfortable. "How do I look?" I asked doing a little twirl. "Gorgeous." He said wrapping his arms around my waist and planting a kiss on my lips. Draco got dressed into his Quidditch robes. I admit he looked really good. We walked downstairs to an empty common room. Then we walked out of it into the hall. Draco pulled me close again. "I know you probably don't want me kissing you in public, so I'm gonna get my good luck kiss right now. He kissed me for a long time before pulling away." "Good luck." I giggled. We walked to the Great Hall at seperate times so that no one suspected anything. I sat down next to Bree. "Hey." I said. "We need to talk." She said. My heart was racing, my stomache dropped. "About what?" I asked. Her face suddenly broke in a grin. "Last night Blaise finally kissed me!" She said. "That's amazing!" I said, hiding my relief. "I'm so happy for you." "Thanks." She said. "I was going to tell you last night, but you came to bed really late. And then you weren't there this morning." "Early morning walk." I smiled. "Oh. Hey, nice jersey." She said. "Getting into Quidditch spirit huh?" She laughed. I forced a laugh. "Yep." She looked me over and looked at the back of the jersey. "Malfoy's old jersey?!" She asked. "Yeah." I said guility. "He gave it to me this morning, we ran into eachother. He asked me to wear it to show my support." I said. She rolled her eyes. "Rorie, you're so naοve. Guys only give their jersey to either their girlfriends or girls that they're trying to get into bed." "Really?" I asked. "Yeah, that's how it always is. But then again maybe he really does just want support. I heard he was with some slut last night." "Oh?" I said trying not to sound interested. "Yeah. Someone saw them snogging outside last night in the rain all muddy and stuff. And then they went back to his room. And I heard Granger walked in on them about to have sex." She continued. "Wow." I said. "Um...so did she say who it was?" Bree shook her head. "She says she doesn't want to sink down to the level of gossip so she won't divulge in the name." I wanted to hug Granger right now. She had really saved me. "Well, wasn't that nice of her." I said. Bree looked around. "I wonder who it is." Little did she know the person she was looking for was sitting right next to her. I clapped and cheered loudly as Draco caught the Snitch before the Ravenclaw Seeker. I never really paid much attention to Quiddtich before today, but it was actually rather interesting. All the Slytherins were cheering loudly, and I heard talk of a party happening. I was walking the halls with the rest of the Slytherins when I bumped into someone. "Hey, Rorie." He said. It was Tristian. I smiled. "Hey yourself." I said. "How are you feeling after your team just lost to us?" I teased. "I'm taking it pretty hard." He said jokingly. "Did you read through whole match?" He asked. "Surprisingly no." I said. "I watched it all." "Nice. So you headed to the party then?" "Yeah. You should come." I said without thinking. "A Ravenclaw at A Slytherin party after they just beat us in Quidditch? No thank you. It would just crush my spirits more." He winked. I giggled. "Yeah, probably not the best idea." "We'll hang out another time, yeah?" He said. "Of course." I grinned. He bent down and gave me a kiss on the cheek before walking away. I turned and saw Draco glaring after Tristian jealously. Great now I had some explaining to do. Draco's POV I watched as that Tristian guy walked away from Rorie. My girl. I wasn't even sure if she was really mine, but after last night I considered her to be. You don't just do that with someone and then not be in some kind of relationship with them afterwards. Yes, I know how hypocritical that sounds considering that's what I've been doing with other girls for so long, but Rorie isn't like those others girls. Shes not slutty. She's classy. And I want her all to myself. I walked into the common room to hear cheers. I grinned at all of them as I made my way through the crowd. I had played a really spectacular game, all thanks to Rorie. Knowing she was watching me and knowing I'd get to touch her if I won was what made me play the way I did. Now if only I could do that every game we could win the Quidditch Cup. I looked around for Rorie, she was in a corner, talking to Bree, so I didn't go over there. I waited patiently until Blaise came and pulled Bree away, no doubt for a snogging session. When I was sure that Bree was out of sight, I walked over to Rorie. "Hey there Gorgeous." "Well hello there Blondie." She smiled. "I won the game." I said. "I know." She said. "So you know what that means then?" I asked taking a step closer to her. She grinned. "Yeah, that means you play Hufflepuff next right?" She asked. I was a little caught off guard by her answer. "Well, yes. But what else does it mean?" "If you win the next one, you play Gryffindor?" She asked. It took me until then to realize she was teasing me. She knew exactly what I meant. "You really are a tease." I whispered. She smirked. "Again, what ever do you mean?" "Let's get away from here." I said, putting my hands on her waist. Her eyes darted around looking for Bree. "Rorie calm down, she's not around. She off somewhere with Blaise snogging." I assured her as I leaned down to kiss her. She leaned away. "Not here in front of all of these people." She said. "Okay let's go back to my room then. We'll have all the privacy we want." "Okay." She smiled widely. We reached my room and that's when I started collecting my reward for winning. I kissed her deeply, backing her up into the bed and gently pushing her down. She ran her fingers through my hair, smiling into the kiss. I gently kissed down her neck and her breath hitched. I smirked into her neck as I continued my work on her, leaving my mark. Now everyone would know she was mine she belonged to me and no one else could have her. I kissed her on the lips and then whispered. "You know you're mine now, don't you?" She looked at me for a moment and smiled. "As long as you know that you're mine now. I don't want to see you talking to any sluts." "Oh baby, I wouldn't even dream of talking to those girls. All I need is you." I kissed her again. She pulled away looking a tiny bit uncertain. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Um, will you be horribly mad at me if I say that we should...erm could keep this secret for awhile?" She asked quietly. I sighed. "This is still about Bree isn't it? Why can't you just tell her you want to be with me?" I asked. Rorie bit her lip. "Draco, you don't understand. Bree is like a sister to me. You have no idea all that she's done for me. I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for her." I nodded. "Okay." I said. "But it's not going to be too long, right?" "Of course not." She said. "Maybe a week to warm her up to the idea and then tell her. And I'm sure you can convince Blaise to ease her into the idea even more." She smiled. Only then do I remember that Blaise didn't want me to be with Rorie. Getting him to ease Bree into this idea would be rather difficult. Maybe I'll convince Rorie to keep this secret a little longer so I can figure out what to do. I forced a smile. "Um sure I could." Rorie smiled even wider and kissed me. I'm gonna have a hard time explaining this to Blaise. http://www.harrypotterfanfiction.com |
