The Rhythm of Love

It was late, but they didn't care. They left the house at nearly 11pm when all the others seemed to be in their beds sleeping but still headed out under the invisibility cloak to avoid any interruptions. Harry knew any moment now would come the time to go, to leave Ginny behind to meet her again only God knew when, and the thought of the gift she had given him earlier that day drove him here, with her, on the clear land behind the trees that stood pass the backyard of The Burrow, where no one would see them. She seemed to have the same idea in mind: "We're parting separated ways. We have to make the most of the little time we've got."

My head is stuck in the clouds
She begs me to come down
Says, "Boy, quit fooling around"

Night had fallen down; it was a slightly fresh and cloudy night but clear enough so they would see some starts here and there in the sky. Harry had climbed up a tree to pick up a flower from it. He wanted to get to it with his hands and take it down, no magic for now. Ginny was sitting, placing both hands on the crafted carpet over the grass to let her back rest, her hair waving with the soft breeze, she was looking at Harry go up the tree and staying there for a while, looking up at the sky.

–"Harry! Come here!" –Said Ginny between laughs. –"Give me my flower already!" –She finished with a demanding voice but keeping a smile for him.

I told her, "I love the view from up here. Warm sun and wind in my ear,
We'll watch the world from above
As it turns to the rhythm of love"

-"Alright, alright! But you should try the view there". –Harry said going down, walking towards Ginny, sitting next to her and facing her eyes with a soft look while placing the small pink flower in her ear. Somehow she looked even more beautiful tonight than any other. Figured was the feeling that this was going to be their night.

-"How do I look?" –Said she turning her head like she was a model. Harry didn't speak out a word. His eyes said it all. They came closer to each other, softly touching their noses with their eyes half opened.

-"I also wanted you to have something to remember me by, whatever happens out there". –Harry whispered with a sound of concern in his voice ending it with an "I love you" meeting Ginny's eyes.

Ginny didn't say anything for a moment but then she took his face between her hands leaning even closer to him. As she whispered her lips slightly touching his –"You come back safe to me, ok!?"
And then they stopped talking. He kissed her, passionately, leaving his all being in that rush. She kissed him back the same way while trying to take a deep long breath, giving herself to his arms that were taking her back and pressing it to his chest.

We may only have tonight
But till the morning sun, you're mine, all mine
Play the music low
And sway to the rhythm of love

As the kiss went on, their tongues were eager to meet, daring. They let them join. Making the kiss more fierce. Ginny started lowering her hands and leading one of Harry's arms down too. She pulled back softly, slowly removed his shirt, moving her hands down again over his arm and chest to open his belt buckle and unzip his pants. Harry was just watching her, one hand still to her face, playing in her soft red hair with his fingers. Ginny was now driving her hands slowly up his naked chest and leaving them to his shoulders, looking at him all. Both of them drunk on love. Harry leaned her down kindly, taking the flower off of her head and drawing her face with it and down her neck. He left it there for a moment, in her chest as he unbuttoned her flowered shirt, opening wide to show her white skin and a black bra. Ginny took the flower and placed it over her breast, giving Harry a flirty smirk and then taking his hand down to her skirt. Harry's hands when into the skirt to take it out as well as her pantie while feeling her skin. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply while his hands were going down her legs as she raised her knees to help him get rid of those clothes.

Harry then took his pants all off and being half over Ginny he now was rolling his hands up to Ginny's chest; appreciating the fact that her bra could be opened in the front he uncovered her breast and they just stared at one another for a moment. Harry leaned down to kiss her neck and the upper part of her chest. One of his hands were used now as a support on the ground while the other took her breast, making Ginny reach for air again. She took his back with her hands, holding herself to him, moving one to Harry's messy black hair while the other hand was making its way down to the lower part of the back, letting a warm wave go all over her body when she felt his hand wander with freedom up and down, doing softly as he wanted in her chest. She pulled him closer above her, making his naked body lie against hers at the same time as kissing him below his ear to his cheek, finally pulling her legs apart from one another to let him find a suitable and comfortable position. The flower was now in the ground but not too far. Lowering his hand through her side, down her butt and putting her right leg up over his, Harry marked with a kiss in her mouth the start of the heated up and passionate dance for love.

My heart beats like a drum
A guitar string to the strum. A beautiful song to be sung
She's got blue eyes deep like the sea that roll back when she's laughing at me
She rises up like the tide the moment her lips meet mine

They broke a kiss apart, holding each other now closely under a bed sheet, out of breath. Their hearts seemed to try to pop out, one knocking on the other's chest. They put their foreheads together and both took a deep breath which let Ginny talk for the first time in a long while. –"Happy Birthday, Harry" -she whispered, giving him a peck and looking at him, her brown eyes straight to his green ones. –"Well, technically is not my birthday anymore I'd believe" –He replied trying to make a smart a joke, lifting a grin with it as he went on. –"But thanks anyway". While he said this last thing Ginny just rolled her eyes and said "silly!" while laughing up a bit, making this laugh a louder one when he started tickling her still naked body.

"Stop it!" Ginny shouted, rolling in laughs, making Harry smile by just looking at her face. He stopped and they kissed again, smiling happy, enjoying themselves as they never had. He tickled her a bit one more time making her roll on top of him. Making love once again under the now all cleared sky full of shining bright stars, they let the time pass.

We may only have tonight
But till the morning sun, you're mine, all mine
Play the music low
And sway to the rhythm of love

Harry now was lying down on his back, one arm as a pillow under his head, looking at the stars, the other hand was holding Ginny close to him. She was lying in his uncovered chest with one hand over it, looking to an empty spot far to the trees while Harry stroked her hair. A feel of fear she'd been trying to hide and suppress came back to her. What if Harry didn't come back? Or he was cursed and pulled away from his own good self? She knew he had to leave. She was a strong girl but she could only take too much. The bad feelings clawed in her guts and almost giving up she spoke, with a weepy tone of voice she even still tried to fight –"Harry… I love you... And... Wherever you're going, whatever it is that you have to do out there…" She pushed up to see his face. He was now looking at her worried of what was happening –"Shh! Don't…" He pulled out one of his hands and placed it on her lips as a tear went down her eyes. –"Don't let any negative thoughts fill you up." –He said talking in a firm tone, facing her eyes. –"I need you to stay strong. You're my girl! The one I love. And what I have to go get done is so we will have a good future to live. I'm fighting for you!"

When the moon is low we can dance in slow motion
And all your tears will subside
All your tears will dry

Time had flown away without them noticing. Harry dried away her tears with his fingers and sat down to put his pants back on. Ginny was confused seeing what he was doing, but she was calmed now after what he said. –"Come on up!" –He lifted her covered in the sheet, tied a knot on her shoulder and one in her waist ignoring her confused looks with even one eyebrow raised. –"What are you doing?" -She said looking at what seemed like a very simple and childish imitation of a dress.

–"We have to practice for tomorrow's ball, don't we?" Harry said blinking at her, taking his hand out, inviting her. –"Would you share this piece with me, love?"

–"Oh… This is a pretty dress?" –She said playing with the "skirt" of it while walking towards him. –"I look like one of those celebrities that find nothing better to wear on." She replied with a smile and a sarcastic tone.

They laughed and danced for a while at the tune of a bad imitation of the Tri-Wizard Tournament's ball melody sang by Harry.

And long after I've gone
You'll still be humming along
And I will keep you in my mind
The way you make love so fine

The night was fading. The moon was too low on the west. They had to go back to the house before anyone could notice they were gone. The sun was barely starting to come up. Harry left Ginny in her room door with a small kiss on her cheek and waited till she get inside to leave to Ron's room before he would wake up.

We may only have tonight
But till the morning sun, you're mine, all mine
Play the music low
And sway to the rhythm of love

Ginny came in with a smile brought to her by Harry's kiss. She let the bag that carried the sheets stud the floor and she let herself fall over her bed with a sigh. She sat and changed her clothes, thinking of the night she'd had, ignoring a Hermione that was looking at her, wide awake with her face resting in one hand, with a mischievous look, raising an eyebrow and pulling off a smirk, guessing it all from Ginny's shocked look.

–"What?" –Ginny said trying to bring Hermione to speak.

–"Yeah… Like I don't know what happened." –Hermione stood that before going back to her pillow and talking again before Ginny could say anything, bringing up a hand to help her make her point. –"Don't try to say any excuses! I know them and I don't blame you. Just try not to show that bright smile down there." She said to Ginny with a friendly yet a little bit demanding tone. She could keep her mouth shut but the others for sure wouldn't and it would have ruined it all.

–"I... no… I know. I just want to sleep now. Haven't had much of it tonight" She giggled knowing Hermione had probably rolled her eyes. And twisting on her side, covering herself with her sheets, she lied down closed her eyes to sleep. –"Night, Hermione."

–"G'night, sneaker!" –Replied Hermione rolling her eyes once more and negating with her head while smiling. She went back to sleep too.

Harry's bed was the one closer to the door. He lied there and checked out Ron who was deep asleep and snoring. He didn't even covered or put his pajamas on. He kept thinking of the feeling of Ginny, her voice, her way to be. He fell asleep after a while with a smile on his face.
