It felt good to just be in the stands again. Today I was here to cheer on Draco and strangely the rest of Slytherin. Harry couldn’t stop starring at me in Draco's green scarf that I had borrowed. “Hermione you suit that look a little too well” Ginny muttered from my other side. I ignored her. I was too busy cheering for Draco. Draco blocked almost every attack on his goal posts. The quaffle only just skipped past him twice. It was an hour into the game when the rain started pouring down. Luckily the students had shelter over them but it would make things a lot harder for the players. I just hoped that Slytherin would find a way to use it to their advantage. As it turns out they would because not two minutes later a booming voice echoed among the stands. “And Slytherin wins!” I watched as Draco landed his broom on the ground. He was already soaked to the bone. Slapping his new seeker on the back they walked off to the changing rooms with massive grins on their faces. I don’t know what happened but at that moment of victory, everything that had been circling my head for weeks suddenly snapped into place. I smiled at Harry and Ginny; I gave them both quick hugs before I all but ran down the stairs and up to the castle. Barter eagerly awaited my return but I was eagerly awaiting someone else. I bent down to pat Barter when the portrait door swung open. I spun around and stared at him. His smile was dancing on his lips. “Man, the weather is crazy out there!” he joked as he reached and pulled the portrait door shut behind him. He had looked up about a spilt second before I jumped on him. My lips crashing down on his with nothing but passion. His arms slowly snaked there way around my waist and held me up. His mouth opened in perfect timing with mine and in perfect harmony our tongues greeted one another. I felt myself slipping away. It didn’t matter that we were soaked from head to toe. It didn’t matter that he was a Slytherin and I a Gryffindor. Time itself stopped existing. It was just us floating on absolutely nothing. We could have been that way for a minute, an hour or a decade, it didn’t matter. Nothing in my life so far had been more perfect than that moment. I forgot that tomorrow I would be attending classes again. I forgot about the play I forgot about fighting with everyone and I forgot about all of the other insignificant details. When we did break apart a piece of me cried out. I didn’t want that to end I began to question why I hadn’t done that sooner. Draco's forehead rested against mine. His eyes closed and I wondered if his head was spinning as much as mine was. His heated, raging breath told me it was. My hand slid down from his face and rested on his chest instead. “Wow.” He whispered. “Wow is right.” I said even more quietly, still trying to catch my breath. There was nothing now that could make my night last long enough. I only wanted to continue kissing Draco forever. Eventually though my eyes grew heavy. I couldn’t keep awake and I ended up falling asleep in his arms. Sunlight shone directly into my eyes and I knew it was morning. Forcing my eyes open I looked around for the time. We had 5 minutes to get down to breakfast. “Draco.” I whispered shaking him slightly. His groan let me know that he didn’t want to get up at all. “Draco wake up.” I tried again. “What is it?” He mumbled. “Its time for breakfast.” I squirmed out from under his arms and was just about to climb off the bed when his arms wrapt around my waist and pulled me back to him. Leaning over me he gently brought his lips down on mine. “Good morning.” He whispered huskily and then climbed off his side of the bed and made his way to the bathroom. Rolling my eyes I got up and got dressed. Today was my first day of classes and I was nervous to see if I had fallen behind at all. So far all the assignments I had done had passed but who knows. Breakfast was highly uneventful. As soon as I walked into herbology that morning everyone stopped at stared at me. Great. This was going to be a long day. [A/N: Ok can I please just say thank you to all those who have read this story. Occasionally ill see a review from some one who reviewed my first chapters almost 2 years ago. I can not believe that I first published this story in 2009. It seems like yesterday that I came up with this story idea and took it on as my baby. I have officially broken my record for the most chapters posted in on a novel so far. (I usually get bored and abandon it) Anyways to cut a long story short. I have the rest of my story planned out now and there will be a total of 34 chapters. =] Thanks again to those who have stuck by the story. I REALLY appreciate reviews.. so PLEASE.
