“Lily! Just try the damn dress on!”
“NO! YOU CANT MAKE ME!” then I immaturely stuck my tongue out at her, she in return jumped on me. Literally. She jumped at my back and was trying to force the dress over my head while I screamed and ran around the store trying to get her off my back. You must be wondering why this is happening, well for the past 2 hours kristy has been forcing me into all kinda of the most hideous dresses in the store. She is under the impression that they will look ‘smashing’ on me, not. I drew the line at a pink sequined dress that was just awful.
After our little display, we got kicked out of the store. Annie was furious.
“I had finally found a dress that I liked and you two had to make a scene!” she yelled at us as we walked into The Three Broomsticks, where we planned to meet the boys. They were already seated at a table near the back.
“It was her fault!” kristy and I said at the same time.
She just huffed and said “You guys are so immature!”
James kissed me lightly on the check when I sat down in the booth next to him.
“Did you guys find anything?” Black asked oblivious to the glares Annie was sending Kristy and ours way.
“Thanks to these to morons, no.” I guiltily looked away. James sent me a questioningly look but I shook my head indicating that I would tell him later.
Once we were done with our butter beers, James leaned in to me to whisper in my ear “Wanna leave?” I nodded my head and stood up, grabbing my jacket.
I suddenly got really nervous. Where were we going to go? What if it is really awkward or boring? What if he has a horrible time?
All these questions came flying towards me as we walked out the door. I automatically shivered from the cold air, James saw me and casually tossed his arm over my shoulder and drew me into his side, and kissed my temple. His small display of affection put all my worries at ease, I was with James! This date could never be boring or awkward. I snuggled into his side, “Where are we going?” I asked determined to find out.
“That’s a surprise!” I groaned. Then I thought of a plan.
I stopped walking and pulled him into an ally, I pressed him against the wall and started kissing him. I pressed my chest to his and he moaned. I smirked mentally, it was working. I tried to ask him again, “where are you taking me?”
“shrieking shack.” YES! hahahahahaha! He groaned pressing his face in my hair. “Miss. Evans, you are such a minx.” He mumbled teasingly.
“It’s not my fault you’re too horny for your own good! So what are we doing at an abandoned old creepy house? It sounds like somewhere a guy would take a girl to get laid” I said laughing, I looked at James, he was looking at the ground, embarrassed. “Wait James, you didn’t actually think something was gonna happen today?”
“Well I didn’t think we’d shag, but I mean….” I was annoyed.
“James! This is our first date! I’m Not going any further than first base! I’d like to keep at least some things traditional!”
“Lily I love you and I would wait that long if you wanted to but do you really mean until we get married?” Oh my God, was he really saying he wants us to get married? My heart stopped beating and my stomach kept getting butterflies. I smiled up at him.
“Do you really want us to get married?” He widened his eyes like a deer caught in headlights.
“Um-well-um- yes.” I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him, trying to express how much I loved him.
“And to answer your question, no I defiantly do not want to wait until marriage.” I whispered in his ear.
“Sorry if I seemed like a man whore, I really will wait however long you want me to.” He said as we walked out of the ally and into the crowded street.
“I know, and I love you.” I replied. He smiled down at me and grabbed my hand.
“I love you too.” He laughed and pulled me towards the shrieking shack.
The closer we got the more confused I got. “Seriously James! What are we doing here?”
“Be patient! You’ll see.”
“Grrrr” He just laughed at me. Git. I immediately took it back when he pulled me through the door. He had set up this whole dinner with candles and all my favorite foods! I turned to him and snuggled into his neck. “You are the most adorable guy I have ever met!”
“Whoa now that kinda hurts my manliness.” He chuckled into my hair.
“You are so sexy and hot!” I said jokingly, “Is that better?”
“Defiantly.”
“Now only if it were true.” He gasped playfully. He leaned down and started kissing my neck I moaned and buried my hands in his hair then my stomach growled. “That’s one way to ruin the mood.” I said. He laughed and pulled me to the table. I still can’t believe he did this for me! I ate to my fill then he pulled out this massive chocolate cake!
“Are you trying to get me fat!?” I asked. He just laughed. Once we had both eaten to our fill he pulled me over to the couch where we talked and laughed well into the night.
“Oh my god! James! It’s already 11:00! We have to get back! The teacher are going to catch us coming back after curfew!” I was freaking out.
“Calm down lily! I know a passage way back!” He lead me through a door and a tunnel and the next thing I knew we were under the whomping willow. He took out his invisibility cloak and pulled it over both of us, it was a tight fit so we had to press together. Once we had made it back to our dorms we pulled it off us. I smiled up at him.
He lead me over to my door, he leaned down and kissed me lightly on the lips. “You said you wanted to keep things traditional. “ I laughed at him.
“That was the best first date ever! I love you.”
“I love you to.” With one last glance I walked into my room and fell asleep with a smile still on my face.
