I have been so busy with work and stuff, but here it is, I hope you enjoy! Please please please review :) xx ***************** A few night’s after the one in the dungeons, Lexi asked Draco if he wanted to sit in the common room and study with her for a while. They did some real studying for around an hour and then decided that they had done enough. The pair sat and talked about how their lessons were actually going for a while and then briefly spoke about Draco’s passed years in Hogwarts. Lexi had never gone to a school that taught magic before, and explained to Draco what it was like in a muggle school. “So you do not use a quill and parchment in a muggle school? That is outrageous! Stupid people muggle’s are, if you ask me, I think that they all need a good kick up the back-“ “Malfoy! Will you please stop being so foul mouthed about muggle’s?” “Sorry Clarkson, can’t help it. And why are you all on the defensive over them?” he answered timidly. “Because I have lived with them all of my life, Draco. Well not actually in the same house as them, my grandparents were both purebloods, but I lived with them around me, they taught me how to face the world and basically made me the person I am today. Growing up, it was me that was the odd person, not them.” “I understand, I think. So your grandparents were purebloods too then, yeah? Best way to be.” “We can’t choose our blood status! I wish you weren’t such a judging person.” Lexi said sadly. “I’m sorry Clarkson... Hey, sorry is all I seem to be saying to you today!” “Well, it is necessary!” She answered. They both started laughing. ‘Her laugh is so sexy...’ Draco thought. “I like it when you laugh” he said out loud, not really meaning to. She was struggling with what to say so ended up settling with “Oh shut up Malfoy, don’t be going all soppy on me!” jokingly. “Soppy? Me? Never! You should be grateful that I even say nice things to you, you know, I am usually quite the bad boy.” “Yes, I know you are.” And with that they both got back to studying for a different subject. ********************* Two months passed, and studying with Draco had become a regular thing for Lexi. The fact that they were both Slytherins made things a lot easier to keep on the low from her Gryffindor friend’s. It was the night before a mock history of magic exam in the common room and it was, for a change, Draco’s turn to help Lexi learn things. Draco was not a very good teacher and was just making Lexi very frustrated. They were the only two people in the common room this night, so the two were not afraid to raise their voices. “Why do you have to complicate things so much, can’t you just tell me the information and not go into so much detail about it!” Lexi shouted. “I am not going into detail! You have to know these things to pass you idiot, if you would just listen to me instead of shouting your mouth off then you would understand the importance of the information I am telling you!” Draco barked back at her. He could not help notice how she twisted her long auburn locks around her finger when she was confused about something. He knew that this was a lot to take in, but he was after all only trying to help. “Well, Malfoy, it is not my fault that I do not get the point in this, it is not my fault that I grew up away from the magic world! And don’t you dare call me an idiot you... You... Idiot! ” “I know that! But you need to get it into your head that I am only trying to help and you just snap at me all the time! I swear people would think we were a married couple. But oh no, nobody even knows we’re friends, never mind that!” Lexi could sense a hint of hurt when he said this last part. “Nobody needs to know, Draco. I have more important things to focus on, and you know that I just don’t like people knowing my business...” She trailed off. “You and I both know that is not the only reason Lexi. You are hiding something, I can tell. You never ever say a word to me unless we are alone or in our common room with other Slytherins. Are you ashamed to talk to me in public or something? If so, have you not seen the reaction I get from the ladies in this school...” ‘Her lips are really screaming at me now’ “There you go again being so self centred and all ‘I love me who do you love?’ And you know what Malfoy, it is none of your business if I am hiding something or not. If you do not like the fact that I do not share our friendship with the whole of the school then fuck you.” He could not contain himself any longer. ‘This is the only way to shut her up’ he tried to convince himself. He suddenly grabbed her by the waist and crashed his lips down on hers. He pushed her over to the wall and held her hands above their heads. She tried to force him away from her at first, but only for the first few seconds. After that she was the one that deepened the kiss. She wrapped one leg around him, bringing them closer, and found herself curling his blonde hair around her fingers. ‘This is so wrong’ she thought to herself... ‘But so right at the same time...’ Draco was thinking to himself all the time that they were kissing. ‘I have finally got what I wanted... She is just so gorgeous, so smart, and so... perfect. Sure we are friends but she must know that all I have wanted to do most for the past few months. I hope she doesn’t hate me for this, I think I really need her’. Lexi gave him one last kiss on his bottom lip and slowly pulled away from him, the pair looking straight at each other. She looked into his eyes and tried to read them, but could not seem to find any hints as to what he was thinking. She knew that he wanted this, desperately, and she could not continue to hide the fact that she wanted him too. “This has to stay between us for it to work, Malfoy” “Whatever you say, Clarkson. Just shut up and kiss me”. They smiled against each others’ lips and then closed the gap between them once more. http://www.harrypotterfanfiction.com |
