All students sit in Great hall waiting for new year's sorting. It's Harry's 3rd year. While sorting a name is announced-Riya Potter. All are surprised. Riya goes in Gryffindor. She declares herself as Harry's sister. Can this be true? If yes, how is she born after Lily's death? But Harry is determined to find out.

Chapter 4: Sirius Black

 All were surprised when Hermione told them about Riya and Professor Snape. No one knew what the conversation meant and they didn’t dare ask Riya.



 Upcoming few weeks went busy with homework and Quidditch practices. All had adjusted with strange behaviors of Piya and Riya, although they didn’t get any clues about the reason.



 And then one night, all were asked to sleep in the great hall. Sirius Black had been spotted in the school and search was going on. All were quite scared.



 Harry couldn’t sleep till late night. Professors were talking and then he heard Snape speak to Dumbledore.



 “Professor, I think the security should be tightened. And Harry should be warned.”



 “Yes Severus, but not now. He needs a good sleep.”



 “Professor, what ‘bout Riya? She keeps on going to the Room and many times alone. I am quite worried. Especially now when a prisoner is there around.”



 “Yes Professor. I too am worried ‘bout Riya. Piya goes mostly with Miss Weasley, but Riya goes around on her own. She still isn’t quite friendly with Miss Granger. She has to befriend Harry.” Professor McGonagall had entered.



 “Yes Minerva and Severus. I think I have to talk to her now. Tomorrow, I’ll do that.”

 Next day Harry told his friends what he had overheard. But no one knew what had to be done.



 At breakfast, everyone was told that dementors will be patrolling Hogwarts. There were mild groans from everyone and many students stared at Harry. Dementors remaining around him was a dreadful thought, but Harry tried to keep his cool.



 That day at D.A.D.A. they were dealing with a boggart.



      “In this box,” Lupin gestured to the trunk, which jumped a little as he touched it,  “Lives a boggart.  Can anyone tell me what a boggart is?”   Hermione’s hand shot up.



 “Yes Miss Granger,” Lupin said.



    “A boggart is a shape shifter. It takes the form of whatever scares you most.  No one knows what one really looks like.”

    Lupin nodded.  “Correct.  5 points to Gryffindor.  Boggarts,”  he began pacing again,  “Take the form of whatever scares us most.  The boggart focuses on the nearest person and turns into whatever scares them. 

    “We will have an advantage over our boggart.  There are a lot of us, which means the boggart will become confused about what to turn into.  However, that is not enough.  There is a necessary incantation for defeating Boggarts.  It is ‘Riddikulus’.  Repeat after me, ‘Riddikulus’.”



 Everyone repeated.    



 “Good,” Lupin said. “You’ll also need to think of a way to turn whatever you’re most feared thing is into something funny.  Laughter is what really finishes off a boggart.  Then, think of that as you’re saying the incantation.  Now, take out your wands and stand up.”



 Everyone stood up and formed line. Neville was first and the boggart took form of Professor Snape. He turned it in a funny form, in his granny’s clothes. Everyone laughed, except Riya. Harry saw that there was sorrow and anger in her eyes.



 After a few turns, came Riya’s turn. Harry and others waited anxiously to see what form the boggart takes. Suddenly, there was darkness and everyone saw Riya standing alone in snow, with tears in her eyes. Then everyone realized that it wasn’t Riya but was the boggart.



 “Riddikulus.” Riya muttered and then everyone saw that the Boggart Riya was smiling.



 Then was Harry’s chance. The boggart changed into a dementor and Lupin came in between. The boggart suddenly became full moon and Lupin changed it into a balloon. He then dismissed the class.



 “Did you see the look on her face when everyone laughed at the boggart Snape? It looked as if she would burst.” Ron was saying.



 “Yes, and her boggart too was quite odd. I didn’t even understand what she’s afraid of.” Harry said.



“Loneliness. She’s afraid of loneliness.” Hermione said.



 All three walked back to the common room as they had free time. After the class, Riya had disappeared.
