Wow, it's sure been a long time since I updated and I would like to tell you all that I am very, very sorry. I have been on vacation and I have the flu at the moment so I have found little time to update. However, I forced myself to get this chapter finished and I will try my hardest to have the next one up for you much quicker. Also, I have started another story called Hidden Depths and I would very much appreciate it if you could give it a read over and let me know what you think of it. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this chapter and hopefully the next one will be up soon. Disclaimer - I do not own Harry Potter. Understand? More Shopping Sprees and Shocks [Saturday 13th September] Warmth. That was the first thing Hermione felt when she woke up on Saturday morning. The warmth of her bed. It was surprisingly much more comfortable than the one in her dorm room back at Hogwarts. That was because she was now in the Zabini Manor. She groaned as she remembered this. Pulling herself up into a sitting position and pushing her ringlets behind her shoulders she tried to remember getting back to her room the previous night. The last thing she could remember was sitting in the library talking to Blaise. She must have fallen asleep there and Blaise levitated her through. After yawning rather loudly and stretching her arms out, Hermione looked at the clock beside her bed. It was only 6:30 AM. She rolled her eyes as she stood up. Why couldn't she ever sleep till late in the morning? Her stupid body clock always had to wake her up early. Slightly tired, she walked across to her wardrobe and picked out her clothes for that day. For about half an hour she raked through all of the clothes but finally settled on a pair of tight, hipster jeans which revealed every curve she had, a fairly figure hugging, strappy black top which appeared to have red spray paint on it reading 'Kiss My...' on it, and a pair black, knee high 'Faith' boots pulled over the top of her jeans. She was planning on going out to explore the area that day but would probably have to wait until her 'parents' got up to give her permission. Not wanting to sit around doing nothing whilst she waited for the Zabinis to waken up, Hermione made her way down to the kitchen to make herself breakfast. It took her a good twenty minutes to find it. She would probably never ever get used to this place. It was so massive that the whole of Africa could probably live in it with some space left over. When she finally reached it she could not believe her eyes. It was massive. It had a dining table in the middle of it, which about 10 people could sit at. There were so many different muggle appliances such as kettles, blenders, microwaves and even cheese graters lying about. Hermione would be honestly surprised if anyone in that house knew how to use any of them. Shrugging, she made her way over to the fridge and pulled out some eggs and a few rashers of bacon. She always made more than she needed so that she definitely still wouldn't be hungry afterwards. She usually left about half of it. She was just starting to lay it all out on her plate after cooking on it when she heard footsteps behind her. She swirled round and froze. None other than Draco Malfoy stood before her in a pair of baggy jeans and a very loose black and green t-shirt. His hair was messed and his ice blue, tired looking eyes stared eagerly at the food Hermione had just prepared for herself. Goodness, when did he get so damn hot, Hermione found herself thinking. His hair looks so gorgeous, and even his eyes look... STOP IT! What on earth are you thinking? You hate this guy! He tormented you for years! "What do you want?" Hermione asked abruptly, snapping herself from her previous thoughts. "Well, isn't somebody moody in the mornings?" He replied as he reached for that mornings Daily Profit which was sitting in the middle of the dining table and took a seat. Hermione huffed and picked up her bacon and eggs and also sat at the table. "You know, they have house elves to do that stuff." Malfoy said, not looking up from the paper. Hermione glared at him. "I would rather get off my own ass than make someone else do my work for me." She growled. Malfoy rolled his eyes. "Whatever." The two sat for silence for about ten minutes before they heard others enter the kitchen. The both looked up to see Gabrielle and Adrian enter looking extraordinarily happy. The grinned at Malfoy and Hermione before sitting down to join them. "Hey, uh, m.. mum. I was just wondering if I would be able to go out today. You know, explore the area." Hermione said carefully. Gabrielle smiled broadly at the use of the word mum before nodding. "Sure, of course you can. There is a large mall in town if you would like to go shopping or anything." She replied. Hermione looked uncomfortable. "Oh, uh, but I don't have..." "Nonsense darling, we'll give you money." Adrian broke in. Malfoy stared bewildered. He knew very well that if Blaise wanted to go shopping or out then he would have to work hard to bribe the money out of his parents. Not that they were short on money, but the Zabini parents tried to raise their kid like any normal one. Limited money and only when they deserved it. "Uh, thanks." "No problem." Gabrielle said. "The only thing is that it is quite a distance away and we can't take you. We are rather busy today. I'm sure Blaise and Draco would take you if they aren't doing anything." Malfoy almost choked. Blaise almost did too as he had walked in at that very moment and had caught most of the conversation as he had walked to the kitchen. "Yes Blaise, you wouldn't mind taking Hermione to the mall would you?" Gabrielle asked. "Uh..." "It's settled then. The three of you are going to the mall. How much money will you need Hermione? We have a lot of our money in the muggle currency because this is obviously a muggle area." Gabrielle asked. "Not much." [12:30 PM - The Mall] Hermione, Blaise and Malfoy had just arrived at the mall and Hermione was ready to go shopping. Gabrielle had made a large understatement when she said the mall was large. It was the biggest that Hermione had ever seen in her life. Blaise and Malfoy didn't seem to be as happy as she was to be there. Especially since Blaise and Malfoy had only been given £60 each and Hermione had £500. She had protested and protested against taking the money but finally agreed in the end when Adrian insisted it was the least they could do since they had never given her money before. This didn’t amuse Blaise. "So you gonna be coming to the club tonight?" Blaise asked Malfoy. Malfoy nodded. "Obviously. Who on earth turns down a chance to go to 'Hypnotic'?" Malfoy retorted. "What on earth are you two talking about?" Hermione asked, slightly annoyed. "Just this club we are going to tonight." Blaise replied. "Good. I'm coming with." She said. There was no way on earth that they two were going out clubbing and leaving her in a massive manor bored out of her skull. "Uh, no you're not." Blaise said as they walked by a very pink looking shop. Ironically, it was called 'Pink'. "Yeah I am." "No you're not." "Am." "Not. "Why not?" "Because there are a lot of guys there after one thing." "I can handle myself." "So." "So if you don't let me go then I will spread horrid rumors about you." "Yeah, right." "I'll tell everyone that you and Malfoy are an item." "You wouldn't." Malfoy broke in. There were a few guys who had already accused him of being slightly gay and it was not something he liked to think of. Hermione smiled wickedly. "Blaise, just let her go man. I do want people thinking I'm a queer just cause you don't want her at some stupid club." Blaise rolled his eyes. "Fine!" He snapped. "But if you start getting into any kind of trouble then you're going straight home." Hermione laughed as they entered the first shop that caught her eye but froze in horror when she saw one of the men who had haunted her dreams for years. And it wasn't Voldemort.
