I did not see a topic for these yet - by "short story collection", I refer to ones by single authors rather than collaborations. :)

To recommend a story, please fill out the following form and post below:

Penname: Toomanycurls
Story Title: A Moment of Fear
Link: Here (15+)
Rating: 15+
Warnings: Mild Language, Strong Violence, Sensitive Topic/Issue/Theme

Ships (if any...)
Drama, Action/Adventure
Wordcount: 6723 so far (4 chapters)
Completed: not yet
Summary/Story Synopsis: Inspired by the Litany against Fear from Frank Herbert's Dune, this series of short stories examines moments of fear for key actors during the first wizarding war.

Why You Would Recommend It: This short story collection is a fabulously well written look at several of the main characters from the Marauder era (so far there has been Lily, James, Voldemort and Snape). The characterisation in this is just amazing! Each character is so different and yet she nails it every time! And the fear that toomanycurls examines with each character is fantastic - very believable and plausible. Overall this story is a really interesting and enjoyable read and I was hooked from the first chapter  :)

Summary/Story Synopsis

Whether it's a dim ember, a roaring inferno, or a warm hearth, the Weasley men know fire.

Why You Would Recommend It While there are only two chapters thus far, both are beautifully written and excellent portrayals of the characters involved, not to mention that the theme that connects these stories to one another is so powerfully reflected in the writing. The writing is really wonderful and I look forward to more chapters, so if you're a fan of the Weasley men, go check this story out!
