In HPB, when Hermione smelled the love potion, Amortentia, she smelled freshly mown grass, new parchment and something else which she didn't say (I think it's Ron :p ).

If you were to smell the potion, what would it be for you?
For me it would be mints, strawberries and Colombian bread!

Danni.

For me it would smell of Pixie Stix, campfire, a new book, and chocolate chip cookies! GAH!

Of course, I won't ever really know unless I get to smell a love potion, which I don't think will happen.

3 reasons why peter is the perfect date:

1) he'll always do whatever you want him to do
2) he'll make you feel smarter than you really are
3) he's big and squishy to hug

Funnily enough, I'm rather similar to Hermione - which to be honest is no real surprise, despite the whole being male thing.

*NERDS UNITE!*

For me, it's Freshly Mown Grass, a New Book (real new...) and the smell of a BBQ cooking meat and a beer in my hand (Shutup! I'm still a guy!)

Hm... that's tough...

I'd probably smell dirt/grass right after it's started to rain, a brand new book (I can't help it  ), and... er... perhaps... I don't know. I'll have to get back to that. (Great topic, though!)

I would smell...

The scent of the cold sleepy chill that comes during a soft snowfall, freshly cleaned bedsheets, burning wood, old books, the musky dusty smell of an old house, and coffee.

I noticed that a few of you put 'Campfire' or 'wood burning' as I did, and man, isn't it a comforting smell? In my old room, it smelled like campfire all the time because it's two windows were right beside the patio of the house next to us, and the guy there has a fire in his yard every night.

Mmm...I want to go camping now.

I agree about the campfire thing. It really is soothing!

Hmm... this is actually a pretty hard/interesting question. Just three things, then?

A worn-in sweater mixed with smoke. [I've actually had that for a while - I brought a sweatshirt to a bonfire and it smelled nice for a few days. :p ]

The smell of my pillow. I know, I know, it's weird, but I love the smell of my pillow. It's just so familiar, and makes me think of home and waking up to too-hot mornings in my yellow room. :D

And as for the third thing... well, I don't really smell people that much. ;) So I don't know... yet. :p

I would probably smell something along the lines of fruits like oranges, apples, and other stuff. And you can't forget cookies!

Oh, and this isn't a poll. I think it should be posted somewhere else or the staff might remove it.
